Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Maria GNorthampton, UK27 contributionsA beautiful well kept park a pleasure to walk round or for cycling on the electric bikes that are situated/ docked by the main gate. Disappointed that both toilets are now closed by the main gate.Written 8 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - places2seeplaces2goEngland, UK6,465 contributionsArrived here with no booking.
Checked with security at entrance, who advised that it should be no problem to visit & to join queue.
Waited maybe 15mins & then we were wizzed upstairs via lift.
Great viewing platform & views across London.
Beautiful plants & areas to sit & relax.
A little cloudy & windy on our visit. Would imagine it’s glorious on a sunny day.Written 4 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Lovely grounds and nicely set in Hyde park but aside from the memorial garden when touring there is no reference to Diana or any modern royals. The whole tour is about historic royals and a man interesting section on Queen Victoria. Not the most interesting palace .Written 18 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- PooleBestyPoole, UK95 contributionsThis was a beautiful oasis in the heart of London. The park itself was lovely but the Kyoto garden topped it off. However it is smaller than I thought and only takes 20 minutes to go round. It is very peaceful though and relaxing. I reckon May is a good time to go as the garden looks its best.Written 26 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Monique BEdinburgh, UK610 contributionsI love the location of the garden, it’s in a quiet area easily walkable. The garden has a great layout and lots of spaces to sit or to explore. I could have spent all day. The cafe onsite is busy and you can book in advance for a table.Written 26 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Antony RLondon, UK131 contributionsThis is a magnificent historical building with fabulous views over London. As a music venue it’s ok, the facilities are very good, but due to the high ceiling and brick walls, the acoustics are poor. It’s also a long walk from the train station, which obviously on event days gets very busy.Written 16 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Winnie ESydney, Australia194 contributionsA definite must do when you’re in Hampstead. Feels like walking through an abandoned palace which has been overgrown by beautiful plants, flowers and vines.Written 22 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Broncos95momJacksonville, FL97 contributionsWe spent hours in Queen Mary’s Garden on a lovely day in June. We were fascinated by all the varieties of roses! We also loved the other gardens with plants of varied heights, color and textureWritten 20 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Deanosaur89Edmonton, Canada8,617 contributionsThe signage says they are open Sundays and bank holidays 12-5 pm but staff told us the conservatory is open on Thursdays and Sundays. This is a good free attraction in London and is nearby lesser known attractions like Guildhall and the Whitecross Market. We enjoyed our visit to the Barbican Centre and there are lots of windows to look inside. The brutalist architecture of the centre is interesting to look at too.
The closest underground station is Barbican and there are a number of good restaurants nearby. It is within 20 minutes of St. Paul's Cathedral, Leadenhall Market and the Monument to the Great Fire of London by foot.Written 5 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We have been going there for many years and it is always a pleasure to walk through the beautifully presented gardens. There are also many interesting monuments and statues. Plenty of seating available and there are a couple of cafés which are not too pricey.Written 28 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Selsdonian2Croydon, UK55 contributionsSome time since I last visited. A few new developments including a paradise garden off the main site. My wife wanted to see the special exhibition - the room was quite small with a lot of exhibits and a lot of visitors!
The displays in the rest of the museum and the upper level permanent displays were of interest, but we did not feel like the climb up the tower.
We started with a coffee in the cafe. A great disappointment - mine went to a nearby planter! But when I commented on the taste I did not have to pay for it. This put us off having lunch there - although the meals did look quite interesting on the tables.Written 29 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Great views of the London Eye, as you are almost beside it, and nice little adventure playground - all wooden and steel materials, lots of climbing and balancing opportunities. Didn't have time to explore the rest of the park but it looked lovely.Written 18 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Zapryan DLondon, UK252 contributionsI visited Fulham Palace in January earlier this year with a friend and I was pleasantly surprised by this site. I've lived in Kew/Richmond for more than a decade and I'd passed the palace at least several times but I'd never visited. My friend and I spent roughly an hour exploring the various displays, the palace rooms and the gardens and we particularly enjoyed the beautiful chapel and the walled garden. We didn't go to the cafe but I bought the guidebook, which I very much enjoyed reading after our visit. There's no fee to visit the palace so if you're in the area, I recommend you explore the palace and the gardens, as well as the lovely Bishop's Park nearby.Written 8 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
