- John W3 contributionsVery clean bus to travel on. Tour guide was very good. This type trip to go on if don't have a lot time spend in place. We plenty time at Stonehenge. In the city of Bath you get small little tour of the city. After that you get some free time explore and get something to eat. He made us feel completely at ease and ensured we stayed on schedule without ever feeling rushed. His “dad” jokes were a highlight for my 12-year-old, who eagerly hung on to his every word, always anticipating the next punchline. Meanwhile, our driver, Ricardo, was fantastic—his expert driving made the entire journey smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.
I would definitely recommend this tour, as attempting this journey on your own would be challenging, and a single day wouldn’t be enough to truly experience everything. We managed to see the changing of the guards from both ends. The tour is a long walk so be prepared for this especially during summer when it is also crowded. It is going to be tiring and there are not many opportunities to sit down. You will be given headsets to listen to your guide and also so that you don’t lose your group.
What was most amazing was the inside of Buckingham Palace. Wow. Be prepared to be blown away by the extravagance, rich art history and gold gilding. To think that this is someone’s residence!!! This will be without your guide so you can spend how long you want till it closes. By the way you can’t take any photos inside.
There is cafe at the end of the tour so you can refresh yourself, souvenir shop (which we found expensive) or you can exit.

He, literally, made all of my childhood dreams of coming to London and seeing all of the sights and sounds I have seen on tv since I was a child come true. Though, even more than I could have ever imagined. The day we went there were some special things happening that weren't anticipated. Dan ensured we got to see all of the ceremonies, and that we knew everything that was happened. He answered all of my questions throughout the walk, and made sure that we were all included.
