Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- All A MuddleRichmond, UK381 contributionsThis is worth a visit, it's crowded, expensive and a mish mash of stalls but there are some hidden gems amongst the fake Harry Styles tshirts and Taylor Swift keyrings.Written 10 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Emily LevertThe Hague, The Netherlands1,803 contributionsCovent Garden Market is a must-visit in London! The atmosphere is always lively, with street performers, boutique shops, and a great mix of restaurants and cafes. Whether you're looking for unique gifts, designer brands, or delicious food, there's something for everyone.
The historic architecture adds to the charm, and the market buzzes with energy day and night. - WaddlerYork, UK12,609 contributionsI came for a spot of street food - actually there's less food here than I was expecting, but there's a section with a few outlets (mainly Asian). Its more of a real market than I expecting, in a nice building.Written 17 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Heff3London, UK100 contributionsGreat stret food. Good atmosphere. Large selection of food stalls & other stalls selling various items. Only issue is not many places to sit down & eat. Best to take your food and walk over to the park on the other side of the road, there you can by a drink as well.Written 21 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - John MLangley, Canada103 contributionsWell worth a stop if you find yourself in ‘The City’. I visited during the late afternoon when the darkness provided a beautiful contrast to the lighting in the Hall. Lots of places to eat and many pubs that were all quite busy, both inside and out, during my late afternoon visit. I had a pint at the Lamb Tavern to soak up the atmosphere.Written 19 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - schmidtmgSwitzerland1,164 contributionsI used to visit Burlington Arcade a lot as a student in the mid-1980s. It has for sure changed since then, but the flair of old and fairly traditional British shops (in the good sense of the term) remains. There are more antique watch stores, and some of the old stores have gone. But to stroll through the arcade is a delight.Written 14 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
