Granted, it was early season /late April so fairly light traffic so my wife & I enjoyed the pleasant journey through the lovely surrounding greenery arriving at the well signposted country park.
If you love nature, this is a wonderful place to visit in a beautiful setting.
Bourton House Garden Bourton-on-the-Hill
#1 of 1 Nature & Parks in Bourton-on-the-Hill
Even though it’s still school holiday time, it wasn’t very busy which gave us ample time and space to wander around looking at the beautiful planting and the tree park on the other side of the road.
There is a large grass car park across the road which is directly opposite the entrance in the large Tithe Barn where there is an attractive cafe and large gift shop.
Batsford Arboretum
#3 of 6 Nature & Parks in Moreton-in-Marsh
It is the perfect place to have a peaceful stroll all year around, enjoying the views, streams, pools, statues and nature at its best.
Free entry to friends at Westonbirt Arboretum, a friendly welcome after walking from the extensive car park through the garden centre, shop and excellent restaurant(very good breakfast).

I hardly need add - we were not there for the fishing but because we needed somewhere to park the caravan while we explored the Cotswolds.

The informal park areas were lovely to stroll around with many shady areas and lots of seats to sit and admire the fabulous views across the hills and vales of the Cotswolds.
A great place to take a picnic with lots of green space to sit, there is a cafe (gets busy) and lovely plants to buy, the car park can get busy too and you'll need to be patient (in the narrow lane) but the wait s...

#2 of 5 Nature & Parks in Chipping Campden
As the day was exceptionally hot we enjoyed an ice cream in the car park before entering and there was a tea and coffee wagon doing the usual light bites next to a marquee a very cool option and much needed.
One could sit there for hours on ends thinking or observing nature, feeling at home and enjoying colours and nature.
Broadway Playground Broadway 11.8 km away

It has the usual play-park stuff like slides and swings, but some unusual features too - a small climbing wall for example, a good zipwire run, and a large ropes-and-netting arrangement for adventurous climbing.
Great play park for children of all ages - zip wire, slides, tunnels and very varied sizes.
