as beaches go this one is wonderful, very scenic with good parking and loos available but what I like best is that is absorbs so many people easily so that everyone has space to enjoy and the kids to play.
Came here to walk across to hill, make sure you check tides if you're walking across, lovely beaches clear and clean with plenty of room.

Simon is there everyday that the weather allows and is the nicest man you could meet, there aren't many beaches now that you can hire a boat like this and it is definitely worth doing.

A walk up to the quieter end of the esplanade is rewarded by access to beautiful unspoilt beaches a mixture of sand and pebbles with plenty rockpools to explore .
When you have a dog on holiday too, it has to be one of the best beaches in South Devon, whatever the time of year.

Check the tides first - and if you time it right you can walk nearly a mile to the sea and then walk for miles on outstanding unspoilt beaches.
We always make this a place to visit everytime we come to North Devon and unlike a lot of beaches you can park in very easy walking distance to the sand.

Always a lovely walk through this quaint little hamlet to the beaches, which are immaculate and sheltered, lovely for lazy afternoons building sand castles and rock pooling.
Great beaches for kids as there's easy access, toilets, rock pools, plenty of sand and a waterfall that the kids loved trying to build dams in front of.

Ideal if you after a beach quieter than the main beaches in Torquay.
