Chester Zoo Chester
Fab xx simply brill xx love Chester zoo x great changes and great staff x love the changes new and modern atmosphere
I have just arrived back from Chester after a wonderful visit to Chester zoo! what a brilliant zoo, be prepared to walk a lot...its huge!! the islands are brilliant and would highly recommend the boat trip around...
Hawk Conservancy Trust Weyhill
The main attractions around the trust park are set out much like an zoo with the animals in their own enclosures generally with the names of the birds be it owls, hawks, vultures, kites, secretary birds and many m...
I personally dislike zoos and caged animals - so this is not my first choice as a type of place to visit - this however is my 5th visit and the freedom to fly and obvious good health of these birds is wonderful to...
The Animal Experience Stretham
This truely is a unique experience, so much more personal than the ones you get at a zoo - where normally you are booked as part of a group and arent even allowed to touch the Meerkats, which is completely the opp...
At this family run zoo (for that's what it is with reptiles and arachnids of various shapes and sizes) one can buy half an hour up close with meercats.
The International Centre for Birds of Prey Newent
Having always been interested in natural history (my first book was "My Family...") I have visited lots of venues: zoos, wildlife parks, aquaria etc.
The ICBP though is much more than a bird zoo.
The British Bird of Prey Centre Carmarthen
Vale Royal Falconry Centre Northwich
This doesn't have the hustle of a zoo, it is a home based with an intimate feel that makes it all the more special.
I must point out this is not an open zoo but by appointment only so please don't arrive without booking.
BCA Zoo Maidenhead
This is a really nice little Zoo and our guide Emily was fantastic - very knowledgeable and it was great to hear about all the personalities that live there..Would highly recommend to any animal lovers.
The zoo tour was excellent, there is such a wide range of animals I was pleasantly surprised!
Predator Experience Ayside
Wolves are a big attraction in zoos but this was truly a hands on experience and perfect anyone who wishes to experience the 'Call of the Wild'!
I cant recommend this highly enough, it is more expensive than your run of the mill zoo or wildlife park, but for a very good reason, this isnt the kind of one to one experience that you get anywhere else.
Hensting Alpacas Eastleigh
Cotswold Falconry Centre Moreton-in-Marsh
The demonstrations opt for humor and insight, rather than the slick choreography of other bird zoo shows, and each one is different.
Don’t think that this will be like a zoo visit, so much more.
Monkey Haven Newport
Brilliant place to visit, monkeys and owls are all in impressive exclosures, the zoo keepers are friendly and knowledgeable.
This is an amazing monkey and owl sanctuary, looking after those animals and birds either neglected by private owners, proving difficult with zoos or rescued from poachers.
Folly Farm Begelly
... and I (Grandma) loved the Noah's Ark or speedway, whatever they call it - a visit to my youth, just fab! Wonderful zoo outside with giraffes, zebras, monkeys, lions, etc, all very well organised and well kept.
Awesome barn full of goats, rabbits etc... Zoo area was also impressive, lots of wild animals and can get really close to the main ones like rhinos and giraffes.
