Its just the best ever thing to do- we did a day out and there really is so much to stop and do along it- beautiful waterfalls, walks, lakes to swim in, as well as enjoying the views.
Drove the highway from Whistler to Vancouver, beautifully stunning scenery, snow capped mountains hugging the arm of a fjord, spectacular views.

Located about 20 minutes from Squamish in the Squamish valley, the monastery has stunning views across the valley to snow-capped peaks above forested slopes.
Sitting in the chapel the view is fantastic, you have a window scenery of a snow capped mountain, you almost can imagine that Julie Andrews with run up a hill singing the HIlls are Alive.

The well-restored site, beautifully presented museum, small trip in a mining train into the tunnels, and the staggering size of the refining mill make this a thought-provoking experience for any visitor.
I'm so glad that we finally checked this place out, the grounds are gorgeous and there are many buildings to wander around plus ample outdoor space and some beautiful views and, surprisingly, tons of birds!
