Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stopped in to pick up some brochures and maps. Ended up having a great conversation with one of the staff, Ernie. He gave us an excellent introduction to the area and made lots of notes on our map.

We make a habit of stopping here every time we travel along the Yellowhead a Highway near Valemount, BC
There are often a dozen or more different birds and waterfowl to be viewed. A comfy boardwalk takes you around without getting your shoes dirty.

What a gem of a place. Recently taken over by the local community, this museum is housed in the original railroad station building and gives a fascinating insight in to late 19th & early 20th century life.
Well worth a visit and a great way to break the journey

We didn't have time to walk the whole trail as we were travelling, but we found it a pleasant and refreshing walk. It is beside Swift Creek, with lots of enhancements to stop the creek from flooding. Signs say salmon come to spawn and to not disturb them when they are laying eggs (even shadows can bother them). We would like to walk it again when we have more time.

Really great time. We had the samplers which were great. No food on the premises but a great pizza place opposite that delivers to yoga at the pub. Great staff & great atmosphere

Discover Canada Tours organized this trip to the Willow Ranch for breakfast on the last day of a four day trip of the Canadian Rockies. It was like leaving the best for the last.

After checking out from our hotel in Valemount early morning at 7 am were driven down to the ranch a little distance away from the hotel. Real cowboys and horses were waiting for us. Willow Ranch is a real ranch with horses, donkeys, a breakfast kitchen, 2 bonfires, a broken down jalopy, and real cowboys and ranchers.

We started with a cup of black coffee and got a plate of hash browns, and a muffin with a cheese slice and a tomato slice. We had to serve ourselves directly from the open ranch kitchen which is run by the resident family. There were wooden tables and benches besides the kitchen and ranch house.

Then there was a session of lassoing, throwing, hammering a nail in to a log of wood, and some dancing. Everyone had a jolly time here with us learning to lasso and line-dance with our new friends from around the world. Even our dignified friend from Japan was enjoying doing the line dance.

They do have some cabins for lodging as well as a gift shop where you can buy some cowboy style stuff. They arrange horse riding trips on the mountain trails too.

Amazing experience. Our guide Morgan was really good. There was 3 inexperienced ATV drivers but he went through everything slowly and clearly. We had a test run before we set off. Morgan was very professional yet very friendly and awesome! The tour was much longer than the advertised 2 hours (good thing of course). Would highly recommend. The view at the top of the mountain was breathtaking.

We were regular customers at the unserviced campsites. Now that they increased their prices dramatically, we probably won't be back.

In a year with low snow and variable conditions Terry and crew were able to delivery an amazing experience for our group. Great terrain and AAA+ guiding. the Snowcat box is one of the most comfortable that I have been in, great layout with plenty of room. We had 2 families with children and I am so happy that we were able to introduce the kids to mechanized skiing with such a good operation. We will definetly be back next year.

Went on the beaver with Justin and a few friends on June 12th! Justin and Jimmy were both amazing raft guides and gave us the best experience. Will be back very soon to try the other tours! Thanks so much
