We learned quite a bit and really enjoyed the tours, especially the black sand beach. - Elainefacs3 contributionsThis full day tour is good for those who like volcanos, but also those who like scenery. You can include varying amounts of walking. I had injured my knee a few days before this tour and Mike was able to make several accomdations for me. You will see many Volcanos and Mike will explain the volcanos and their significance to the area. The scenery from the volcano's rims was magnificent. Mike is very personable, knowledgeable, and well traveled himself. - Coralie M D6 contributionsWe had a lovely day through the scenic sights of Auckland. Mike's cheerful disposition guided us through the magnificent views of Tamaki Drive, and Mission Bay. Other interesting sights included the Fernery at Domain Park and lunch at the Landing located at Riverhead.
Mike was jovial, entertaining and provided a lot of history to each of the memorable sights.

The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, displaying a deep and insightful knowledge. The stops were well planned and of good duration.

The tour guide (and owner) Pauline was very warm and friendly and very knowledgeable on the local area. She made sure I (first time on a segway) was feeling confident on the segway before heading off on the tour. Segways are a fantastic way to see the city and were easier to ride than I was expecting. The city was lovely and the views from the top of Mount Victoria are stunning. There is no way I could have made it to the top on foot, so this was the perfect way to get there.
