Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Watching the bats fly towards Flores to feed is an eerie experience. Soundlessly, they cover the entire sky and come in tens of thousands in a seemingly endless flow from Kalong island towards Flores and other islands nearby.
    A moment to remember. Always.

This was stop 6 as part of our tour around Komodo. At this point we were a little water/beached out but its a nice place to chill out. The snorkelling here is enjoyable though, just grab a pair of goggles and head into the water. Around the pier there is more than elsewhere around the beach, but all around great to see many fish and wildlife (I saw a large, blue starfish).

If you get a tour which will take you here, do it. A very unique little island in the middle of the ocean! Lovely blue water and sand. This is literally a deserted island that probably disappears when the tide is in, so a great place to visit as part of tours.

waste of time. no coral, no fishes. Go further in the park to really enjoy
The snorkeling points we enjoyed the most were : Takar Makassar > Batu Bolong> Siaba > Sabayor > Kanawa- Pink beach (We didn't go West of Komodo, nor to Gili Lawa because of a restriction (Fire in progress))
