If you can manage a healthy 30 minute walk up a bit of a hill, you get highly rewarded with great views over Nelson city, over the ocean to Abel Tasman, down south to the Kahurangi mountains (snow covered in winter).
Great walk (or run if you're fit enough lol) to an amazing view, and yes you really are at the center of New Zealand!! Worth the effort.

Labyrinth Rocks Takaka

Drive right up to the site.
The outcrop was discovered in 1994 by Dave Whittaker, an English geologist who leased the land from the council and cleared weeds and rubbish from the site to create what is there today.
Wreck of the Janie Seddon Motueka
#8 of 15 Sights & Landmarks in Nelson-Tasman Region
Well members of our Ladies Group want a local landmark that means some thing to them and tourists, as the area fought to keep the once beautiful Janie along the Motueka Quay walk.
Great views at all tides.
