Went with mum and dad; dad and I did the tour, which was excellent. Peter was our guide and gave us loads of interesting information about the history of the caves, as well as demonstrating an ability to walk backwards without looking... The caves themselves were relatively accessible and level and not particularly claustrophobic. And the brief moment of total darkness was amazing. All the staff were excellent, knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. Great value and would recommend highly.

Visited with a mate on a rather wet and windy Saturday, when the house boiler was down. However, that didn't put us off as the staff were really welcoming and super knowledgeable. We joined a tour (with Kim, the C.D guru) and we both learnt some fascinating facts and figures. There's also a free audio guide which is brief but useful. The upstairs exhibition is worth a look too and well set up. We kept our strength up via the cafe - run by two lovely smiley helpful ladies, trying out their special coffee, sausage roll and beans, and later back for the passionfruit and lime cake! Got blown around the garden but will revisit in Spring to see it at its best. A great place to visit!

I had never visited this farm before however i had always heard of it due to living in a reasonably close proximity to it and the village it is located in is beautiful. I visited with my almost two year old to try and get him used to animals first hand.

When we arrived i noticed that the car park was reasonably small, probably fit around twenty cars in at most. During busy times i can imagine this could be a pain however you can park on the road outside which isn’t that busy. Some of the reviews here mention about the “picnic area” and how you are not allowed to take your own food inside. This was clearly advertised on their website, which i looked at before hand to see prices and i also noticed this on a sign as you enter. To be fair, the small cafe inside is actually reasonably priced. I bought the “children’s lunch box” for 3.70 which was a small hot dog, a bag of crisps and a drink and i bought a large hot dog with onions for 3.90.

To access the cafe area this is free, however to access the farm it is £6 for adults and children under 2 are free but if over, then it’s £4. You can lay by card or cash however there seemed to be a minimum spend of £5 for card transactions. You can also purchase buckets of food for the animals, which are similar to sandcastle buckets and these were £2.50 for a large one but i didn’t get the price for a small one.

The farm has a clear path which walks around it and has animals such as sheep, cows, goats, pigs, rheas and alpacas. You also need to watch your step as there was many chickens freely roaming around the farm aswell. There is also a small indoor area which had rabbits and ferrets. As soon as you enter the animals heads are poking out under the wooden fences and you can openly feed these animals from your hand and they all appeared friendly and didn’t seem to be scared or present a risk of biting you at all. My child was overwhelmed and completely loved it, with it being the first time he has ever fed an animal. The farm is also completely open so consider this in poor weather.
The staff at the entrance could do with a bit more enthusiasm mind, didn’t seem to want to engage in conversation much and just presented with one word answers.

Overall it was a good time at the Farm, however this is something you could literally do in an hour. It is quite small so don’t expect to make a complete day of it as i had probably been around and fed most animals in 20 minutes or so however to occupy the little ones for a short bit of time this is perfect.

An impromptu visit to High Elms. Although we come here quite a lot I don't tend to write a review. Parking is free, although limited. There are a couple of car parks but it is luck if you get a space. The park has a golf course, a cafe and a centre. The environmental centre is open on certain days and times and sometimes holds activities. There are also signed walks around the park and woods, so plenty of space for the dogs and children to play, climb trees and build dens. The grounds also has plenty of space for you to have a picnic.

The cafe is always busy and tables are on a first come first served basis. There are a couple of tables inside with the remainder outside on the veranda, near the pond and under trees for shade. The food is delicious at the cafe but in my opinion is quite pricey for what you get.

All in all a lovely place to go where time seems to stand still and before you know it you have been there all day!

Only Fools and Horses was excellent. Two small things to mention however , 1. £7.90 for a non-alcoholic cider...really?! and 2. there's little or no room to squeeze along the rows trying to get to your seats (don't want to spill that over priced drink) so why do people not stand up to let you past?

Been using Bromley for years never had a problem with guest services until now. Guest services manager bullying an autistic Vulnerable person with speech and language problems Made 2 complaints and the company say this person has to do his own complaint and can’t have me in the meeting ,how bad is that They would not allow a meeting with both of us this is in the glades in Bromley and because. I escalated the complaint they had the cheek to send me a harassment warning letter which I have reported to the police and police have said they have no right to do this and it means nothing And if I want to post on social media or go to papers we are entitled to do so . I don’t wish this to happen to anyone else or my friend again . I know this will be deleted but I will get the word around . I have never said I want the person sacked. . I even have it on recording that I let police listen to I said she should be moved to a different department as the two things she has done to him is discrimination against his disability which is not nice. I did not know that there were 3 companies involved Churchill group ,jll and amulet but the way that this complaint has been handled is not right. And disabled or vulnerable people should not be treated like this and I am disabled myself with brain injury And cerebella ataxia yet they issued me with a warning of harassment letter . Is this how they handle other complaints I wonder. I reported it to the human rights and equality act and they have said this is a section 15 breach but-the glades are saying there’s no evidence . Hopefully this has not happened to other people

I originally found this as the London LOOP section 2 runs though it, so I came back later to have a walk around. Its a lot bigger than I originally thought.
I went in November and it rained heavily but most of the paths are are pretty solid underfoot but there are a few muddy sections.
There is a circular walk with bear sculptures to see. Picnic area with tables and benches. Realy nice to see the winter colours on the trees and bushes.

Prior Gardens is a lovely, calm place to visit. There is usually plenty of waterfowl to admire (and photograph) with green space, a formal garden (the roses look great in Summer) and a wild flower bed.

Beautiful park/ gardens. Every time I go I stumble across a different route. Ideally located in the middle of town, you’d never know it was there behind the theatre. Only issue is that there’s sometimes a lot of drunk/homeless people loitering (which I suppose happens in all town centres these days) so you have to keep your wits about you.

I have visited Orpington many times over the years but never realised that this place existed. The building is very unassuming and opening times are restricted so it is easily missed. The museum consists of quite substantial remains which have been supplemented by modern additions to illustrate the heating system for instance. You can have an introductory talk which gives some useful background which is supplemented by the information boards and models on display. There are quite a few activities for children. There is no cafe or toilet here. You will only need 30 to 45 minutes here and the £1.50 entrance charge for adults is fair.

A Haven of peace outside a busy shopping centre. Plenty of seating around a well kept green space. Only problem is noise from a adjacent busy road.

Jack Absolute Flies Again Wed 16 Oct. Saw this at the National and I remember it being funny but noticed the clever wit so much more in this intimate production. Pauline Armour directs a lot of BLT productions and has done a fantastic job on this one. There's so much happening on the small stage that it's like choreography -- and there's some real choreography to 1940s dance tunes as well. Wonderful cast, and scenery simple but spot-on. We go to 8 or 10 of BLT's shows a year, and we're really glad we went to this one!
