Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We spent three amazing days hiking in the jungle and spotting gibbons in Ratanakiri area with this tour company. They are very easy to communicate with , friendly and flexible. The staff was very good. The highlights was our tour guide for the gibbons : a phd student that is actually doing research and these beautiful animals. He was full of great insights. The owner is super friendly and he was literally able to organize everything for us. Prices more than fair. Thanks a lot !

We did the 3day nontouristic trekking.
Mr. Rithy and the 2 guides gave us a really good experience.
In the jungle we were totally dependent from the guides and we felt us total protected and supported. More over, they prepared amazing food for us.

One of the best things we have done on our travels! So memorable and special.
The trek itself is pretty challenging but you are totally supported throughout by amazing guides. We had Arun and Joe who were outstanding - they caught fresh fish for us to eat from the river, rigged up a bamboo structure to hang out cosy hammocks from to sleep in, and were generally just great company.
Each night we slept by a beautiful waterfall or river and saw thousands of stars...I will never forget that.
Horng, the trek organiser, is lovely and we stayed at her place the night before and after. I would totally recommend that too - it is called Tree Lodge. Her family are so nice and we had great dinners with them.
All in all an amazing experience!!

We just had one day and Smey created a very special tour for us, where we could combine everything we wanted to discover. Very impressive were the gem minings. Also his home stay is great.

First off this is really the Best of Ratanakiri and off the beaten track. Mr. Happy is more than your guide, he is your friend. He knows Ratanakiri in and out and if you’re looking for a friendly English speaking guide come no further! I’ve been on many tours and this is the best one yet! He does the trekking but he also covers the go to places in Ratanakiri. Each place we went to we had enough time to just soak in everything without any rush. Take a ride on the tuk tuk to local eateries and kuy teav (Cambodian noodles) shops. And ask him about anything else around town. Spend a day or couple with Mr. Happy and you”ll feel like a local. And if you want to get full immerse, you can stay at his homestay and experience the local way. Comes as strangers leave as friends. Take care and enjoy.

We had a wonderful time! Dalung our guide and his brother picked us up at our guesthouse. After a 1.5 hour motorbike drive we arrived at the farm of dalung's family were we stayed for lunch. After a short boatride we arrived at the village and the hike started. The ranger made bamboo cups for us to drink our coffee/tea with. We had fun conversations with our guide and we could ask all of our questions. The second day the hike was a bit more difficult, but that only made the second campsite more rewarding. What a beautiful spot! The food was good and plentiful. Our guide boiled some extra drinking water from the river and the ranger showed us from which trees you could drink. Upon returning to the farm, Dalung showed us around and explained a lot about the different fruits/vegetables they grow.

If you like exploring nature, I can definitely recommend booking a trip with Dutchco.

Tip: if you're planning to stay overnight at the of January/beginning of February, pack some warm clothes for the nightly hours!

We had a really great experience with our guide Ben. It’s great that this company supports eco tourism which is a wonderful way to explore Cambodia.

Excellent adventure with guides Pat and Jep! After a nice boat ride up the river we set out on our trek. While making our way through the jungle Pat and Jep stopped to explain the uses (medicinal, edible, etc.) of various plants we encountered. Camped out under the stars at an epic waterfall with a perfect honey hole for swimming! The food prepared by our guides was delicious, plentiful and of great quality. This is was a really fun adventure, be sure to try the spider!
