Yileena Park Yarra Glen
#3 of 71 Food & Drink in Yarra Valley
We've been to wineries all over the world and this little gem is THE best and most personable service ever encountered at a winery.
We are extremely glad we stopped at the Yileena Park Winery...which is one of the best boutique wineries I have had the privilege to experience in quite some time.
Coombe Yarra Valley Coldstream
#6 of 71 Food & Drink in Yarra Valley
On this visit it was to be breakfast at the start of a day visiting the wineries.
The bonuses here are the Dame Nellie Melba connection (including some memorabilia on display), and a winery restaurant that – unlike some in the Yarra – is happy to provide you with a takeaway coffee.
Domaine Chandon Winery Coldstream
#7 of 71 Food & Drink in Yarra Valley
This was the first stop on our trip out to the Yarra Valley wineries and it was a great introduction to the complexity of making still table wine and champagne.
Located in Coldstream, in the Yarra Valley region, this sprawling estate with its lush greenery and serene surroundings takes you away and makes you feel like you are in a winery in France.

There are some awesome wineries in Australia especially in the Rutherglen region but this one is by far one of the best we have visited.

Maddens Rise Coldstream
#10 of 71 Food & Drink in Yarra Valley
They made our day, and made Madden's Rise the standout of our trip despite all other wineries also being great.
By the end of our day we wished we had four wineries like Maddens Rise; so my advice would be go to Maddens Rise and skip one of the larger wineries!

De Bortoli Winery Dixons Creek
#13 of 71 Food & Drink in Yarra Valley
One of the Yarra Valley's best wineries
I brought home a stunning A8 Syrah from their Dixon Creek vineyard that accurately captures for me the scent of a breeze through the bushland after a rain.

The tour started with wine tasting and tasted about 6 different wines here, which was a great experience -those wines were great but bit expensive than other wineries.

#28 of 71 Food & Drink in Yarra Valley
Visited St Hubert's for the first time (after many trips to the Yarra Valley's wineries) and was very impressed: a knowledgeable host, some great (and less common) grape varieties and a nice setting.
It's small restaurant that serves amazing wines and food and has beautiful backyard with trees and gardens leading to vineyards.

We spent a few days in Yarra Valley and had a full day tour of a few of the larger wineries the day before we happened to drive by Warramunda.
