Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing place and a must see if you're in the Philippines. No place can rival the beauty of this lake. The lake is surrounded by steep mountains which gives the hidden lake wonder.

We ended up not going because it’s an illegal development.

We were considering visiting but found an article from a local paper explaining that this concerns an illegal development. I could not post a link to the article because of tripadvisor policy, but please search for it by googling Palawan news Pukaway cave. I would recommend you read it so you can make an informed decision on whether you want to visit.

This was fourth in the day's itinerary and the designated lunch stop during our Joiners Coron Island Super Ultimate Tour (P1850/person) with Calamian Islands Travel and Tours. We arrived around 12:40PM on Wed, May 17, and several tour boats were already docked here. We all had to use another boat as pedestrian bridge in order to disembark. Our tour group occupied one picnic hut where the boat crew decked out a buffet spread consisting of grilled "tulingan" (bullet tuna), grilled chicken, "chop suey" (stir-fried vegetables), sauteed shrimps, eggplant salad, "ensaladang lato" (seaweed salad), steamed rice, cut fruits and bottles of cold water.

Beach 91 has several elevated open picnic huts by the beach, a couple of huts built on stilts with a wooden boardwalk in between, all of them buffered in the rear by rocky cliffs. The small beach has a short and narrow expanse of white sand and clean, crystal clear waters. There are no toilet facilities.

After lunch, we were informed that we could go kayaking and our rental crystal kayak (P1500 for 3 people) was already brought to shore. While we got ready with hats and sunglasses, one of our two seniors (mid-70s) went in the shallow water while the other stayed in the shade of the hut. The crew helped us enter the kayak, handed us two paddles and gave pointers on how to stay balanced. This proved to be a challenge for us as it was our first time using a three-person kayak. We awkwardly paddled away from the beach, with the cliffs to our right. I should mention that my husband and my son did the paddling while I just sat in the middle of the kayak. When we returned to the beach 10 mins later, our guide Del told us that from afar our kayak looked like it might tip over because our weight wasn't distributed evenly. He then invited me back in the crystal kayak for a photo shoot. This was accomplished very quickly and efficiently--Del even taught me how to pose like a model. Unfortunately when we got back to shore, it was already time to return to the boat. I should have thought about taking photos of Beach 91 immediately upon arrival.
