Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre
#1 of 11 Museums in Whitehorse
They have just set up a reciprocal deal with other museums so we were able to go in free thanks to our Royal Ontario Museum Membership.
The staff and exhibits compare favourably with the Museum of Nature in Ottawa, with guided tours, and an excellent half-hour movie.
Yukon Transportation Museum
#2 of 11 Museums in Whitehorse
My husband is retired US Air Force and a current commercial pilot, who knows his transportation stuff and was thoroughly impressed, rating this among the top transportation museums he’s visited worldwide.
The museum features an entire hanger of real vehicles of ALL shapes and sizes, as well as indoor displays with a ton of interesting historical and cultural relevance to Yukon life as it is today.

The studio is in the process of making an amazing glass feature for the new McBride Museum, ask about it.
Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre
#6 of 11 Museums in Whitehorse
Although a lot smaller than the other museums in the area, this was my personal highlight.
When we stopped here, we had imagined that there would be an extensive museum and gift shop in the facility.

If you do much exploring of the museums in Whitehorse, you'll quickly see that there were a handful of people making their mark in the Yukon.
