Pirate Life
#2 of 93 Concerts & Shows in Toronto
The ship is perfect, with sails and water cannons, and the experience was great, including musical theatre, a ghost story and lots of silliness.
The pirate life theatre is actually what it sounds like - you become a pirate and watch a theatre performance!!

Royal Conservatory of Music
#4 of 93 Concerts & Shows in Toronto
Koerner Hall is a wonderful place to take in a concert - the acoustics are great and the audience is always respectful and enthusiastic.
Whether it's a JAZZ.FM91 concert, an Idea City lecture or a classical gig, I love Koerner Hall at the Royal Conservatory and I've enjoyed shows in other rooms as well.
Toronto Symphony Orchestra
#5 of 93 Concerts & Shows in Toronto
The concert featured Sibelius’ Symphony #5, and a Max Bruch violin concerto with outstanding violinist Raymond Chen.
Be aware: Tickets to the shows, especially the big ones (Beethoven, Bach, etc.) sell out quickly, so if you want good seats to a performance (or any seats at all in some cases), definitely buy as early as possible.
Ed Mirvish Theatre
#6 of 93 Concerts & Shows in Toronto
Our latest venture was to the Ed Mirvish Theatre for Beautiful - The Carol King Musical, great show, great seats in the mezzanine level, such a wonderful experience in an old, historic theatre.
As a musical junkie I have pretty high standards (Les Mis in London in outstanding, cheap, last minute seats), and we’ve had the pleasure of seeing lots of TOs off Broadway shows, but Mama Mia was fabulous.

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament
#13 of 93 Concerts & Shows in Toronto
The show starts with the pageantry and chivalry of the medieval ages, moves on with a plot about northern invaders, and culminates with outright trial by combat during the last half hour or so.
Medieval Times is quite a re-enactment dinner show - the knights are introduced to the audience one by one.

7-Up Zero (Cherry, Orange, Raspberry etc) Ginger-Ale (Cherry, Orange, Raspberry etc) Fanta (Cream Soda, Cherry, Raspberry etc) It seems the theatre has a exclusive with the sofa companies.
I always pick this theater to watch movies playing in IMAX or UAVX as the crowd is usually more adult than the Dundas Square cineplex.
