Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Andriah B1 contributionWe had such a good time. We only had three people in our party but the booking person was helpful friendly and based on our beginner experience gave us a good run down of what to expect.
I googled best escape rooms in Toronto and Imaginarium was top rated. I read the reviews about each place on the list and that’s how I chose this.
We had all gone to escape rooms ONCE before individually and didn’t have great experiences but we were looking for something to do between 1-6pm so we gave it a try.

At times it was really difficult hearing what the mission was. But a great experience nonetheless.Written 21 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Carlo FToronto, Canada497 contributionsSuch a fun place for escape room games. Their rooms are large enough to explore in amd move around to solve the puzzles. Very friendly staff as well. I've tried the Noriko mission and Pathogen mission, both were super fun. Between the two, I enjoyed Noriko a lot more because it was scary.Written 27 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jennifer GMontreal, Canada3 contributionsI would really recommend this activity. The staff/ actors are so helpful and wonderful. We would have needed another 5 hours to solve the puzzles and finish lol but it really was tons of fun!Written 4 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Frederik VRiga, Latvia1 contributionMe and a friend played "the evil dragon of Toronto" game and I would absolutely recommend it. We had a lot of fun walking around and solving the puzzles. We got to see some interesting sights and on top of that I learned some new interesting things about Toronto. Absolutely an amazing experience. Will definitely try the other ones!Written 12 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Valérie F5 contributionsThe room (Shut Down) was a whole lot of fun, and hints are not too obvious when asked for. A very nice experience overall, and we'll be back for more.Written 15 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andy G2 contributionsGreat time- we went for axe throwing (a new experience for me), and our coach Hayley was fantastic. She made it far more fun than I ever thought it could be. Highly recommended!Written 7 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Keith TRichmond Hill, Canada64 contributionsThis was our first time doing an escape room and this one was certainly very fun. Because we a fans of the TV show, it made it all the more engaging. The addition of two actors in the game also added a wonderful element to the experience. The puzzles were challenging and you definitely had to work as a team to see how all the clues fit. I really didn't think we were going to figure it out. With less than 2 minutes to go, we managed to solve the mystery and help Murdoch escape imminent death! At the end, the actors told us that less than 10% of the groups are able to solve the game so we felt really good about that! All in all, definitely well organized and highly recommended.Written 16 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Taylor H.1 contributionMy partner and I stumbled upon this gem online while we were planning a trip to Toronto from the USA. We're both so glad we came!
We did the Dragon's Song adventure with a mixed group (10 members, ages ranging teenagers to early 40s) and had a truly great time. The cast (Kat as MC, Clinton as knight, and Rhyse as alchemist) was so energetic and really enhanced the experience. It felt like everyone had a chance to shine as we worked out way through the hour of puzzles and you really could not ask for a better location.
I highly recommend it!Written 8 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ivona KToronto, Canada363 contributionsFirst escape room experience so can't really compare. There were 6 of us in the First Endeavour. The rooms were fun and in character. I found that the clues could have used better writing and more structure. I found it a bit chaotic as the sequence was a bit out of place. Nevertheless it was fun and with some hints from the staff we were able to escape with a couple of minutes to spare. Free parking on the street, staff friendly, washroom on site. Got a deal on groupon.Written 19 February 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Dasha MToronto, Canada24 contributionsMy friends and I did the Truth of Osaka High room (there were 6 of us) and we loved it! Our group had varying levels of escape room experience, but everyone enjoyed it and contributed to solving the puzzles. I've been to well over 20 escape rooms now, and this one is definitely very high caliber.
I won't spoil anything, but it was fantastically creepy with a chilling atmosphere and I was impressed by the creativity of the puzzles and what was done with the space. Literally my only (tiny) complaint is that 6 people was probably too much - 4 would be an ideal number for an escape like this in my opinion.
Overall, fantastic. Similar to the Haunting of Noriko room at Escape Games Canada, and I loved that one too.Written 23 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
