We attracted by the amazing decoration of the theatre, then we booked a VSO concert, it was fantastic night enjoy the music by ear and enjoy the vision from the fancy interior decoration of the hall.

Canada place is a large complex on the downtown waterfront that contains the cruise ship terminal, a convention centre, the Pan Pacific hotel , a fine restaurant, an IMAX theatre, boutiques, and coffee shops.

Queen Elizabeth Theatre

The theatre was comfortable, everything was laid out to create a natural flow and of course that amazing courtyard!
The acoustics are excellent, which is always important, especially for a show like this or the numerous concerts hosted here.
Vancouver Symphony Orchestra

The Orpheum Theatre is a stunning venue and we got to hear the Symphony play the John Williams score to Raiders of the Lost Arc as we watched the movie on a large screen behind them.
The talks before the concert were very informative and put the composers into context.

Don’t rule this place out because of the reviews for us it was a brilliant night and the theatre helped with that as it was comfortable and relaxed.
Parking is always a problem in downtown Vancouver so often we get a hotel room for the night of the concert so we get free parking.
