Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

230 km of stunning views. End of April, so mixed weather and still a lot of snow but also relatively quiet. Magnificent. Take your time. Do not rush.

Did the 1st to 5th bridge walk. The route through the canyon and along the river is stunning. It is hilly and full of steps which are fine for the average walker.

Ben did a awesome job driving us to the glacier. I would recommend, it was once in a life time experience. It was much better then even expected. Everyone working here was so kind.

Well worth a stop if driving, catch your breath and enjoy the views. We visited on a sunny day and early in the morning (around 7am). Really peaceful to hear the birds singing, the mist floating across the lakes surfaces, and just enjoy the mountain views.

Both Pyramid and Patricia were beautiful.

Be careful not to interrupt wildlife at Pyramid Lake, there is a small island you can walk to, when we arrived first thing there was a large Elk grazing. It was lovely to watch until she swam away.

We picked a clear day to take the skytram up Whistlers mountain. Fantastic views during the 7 minute journey and from the viewing platform. You can also climb to the summit if feeling fit. Recommended

I was at Marmot Basin on Friday skiing mid mountain. Love Marmot for the runs and the warm friendly staff and patrons. That is until I ran into Joey, a ski instructor with snow school on Basin run. His customer service was appalling. Joey was instructing a group of about 10 people and did not care that he was rude to people outside his group. I would not recommend taking lessons from Joey. The ski hill is lovely and the majority of staff are great, friendly, personable and wonderful to deal with.

It was great, we saw bears, elk, eagle and dear, and more importantly, we learnt loads about local ecosystem and the challenges Jasper is facing - from pine beetles to wild fire! Kate is very impressive - how they drive and talk and spot animals I do not know!

What a fantastic tour!!! We had the very best time riding through The Rockies and were shown some amazing sights. From the start to the finish we had the very best time and found this to be one of the talking points of our three week holiday. Would highly recommend.

We suited up with water repellent ponchos and life vests before boarding our rubber raft. The water was rushing, but the rapids were mostly category 1. Somehow, I got drenched no matter which way our captain Matt turned the boat, and that water was FREEZING! Good thing I have a sense of humor. This turned out to be the highlight of our Canadian Rockies tour. Captain Matt was personable, informative and lots of fun. Don't miss this fun excursion!

We hired two canoes 🛶 for the day with our boys age 15 & 12 and we had probably our favourite experience of our trip to Canada. They went out of their way to sort the canoes for us with less than a days notice. We were on Maligne Lake for approx 5 hours and it was the most tranquil and beautiful time. We even got to see a moose whilst on the lake . Highly recommend these guys for canoe rental. Apologies it took so long to write a review!

We decided to book a private tour with Joe after reading the reviews and we were not disappointed. Great communication before the tour with Patti and Joe picked us up from our hotel at Pyramid lake as had been arranged. He is so knowledgeable about the wildlife and very passionate about his heritage, and we thoroughly enjoyed listening to him and learned so much about his indigenous culture and the wildlife in the area. He knew exactly the places to take us to see bears, eagles, elk, coyote and much more. we would thoroughly recommend taking a tour with Joe, one of our favourite days of our holiday.

We had the most amazing day on the Jasper to Banff One way trip with Mike as our guide. We stopped at so many great places on the way. The Columbian Icefield stop was a real treat, also the Skywalk. Mike looked after us well, was very knowledgeable and cracked a lot of jokes as well. I will recommend this to anyone travelling to this fabulous area. It's is simply stunning wherever you look

We had a fabulous time with the team despite our initial confusion about where to meet the pickup bus... our fault we realised later because it was clearly outlined in the confirmation email, which we had omitted to read. Our apologies. The team were fantastic...all young people who obviously love their jobs, and are brilliant athletes and white water rafters. We were in the capable hands of Riley, with Antony keeping an experienced eye on things. We are seniors, and had only done white water rafting once before, over twenty years ago. However, I felt safe and in good hands the whole time, and thoroughly enjoyed the exhilarating experience. It was a beautiful warm day but I was pleased I had opted for the extra cover of the blue rainproof smock as well as the wet suit. The water was cold!

We’ve never ridden a horse before.

We chose the one hour option.

The staff were really friendly, informative and full of local knowledge which is great being first time visitors to the area.

The horses are well looked after and pleasant in nature.

The ride was through the local nature reserve that surrounds the stables. It’s very picturesque.

The one hour option for us was just the right amount of time being first timers to riding.

Overall, a great idea if you’re visiting the local area.
