Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Ben did a awesome job driving us to the glacier. I would recommend, it was once in a life time experience. It was much better then even expected. Everyone working here was so kind.

I had an amazing time up the Skytram! Sophie (from London) did an amazing job at explaining all the facts as well as making us laugh! Offering to take photos as I was on my own and putting time in with people and taking photos at the top for me! Thanks again to the team! First time snowshoeing and in Jasper!

I was at Marmot Basin on Friday skiing mid mountain. Love Marmot for the runs and the warm friendly staff and patrons. That is until I ran into Joey, a ski instructor with snow school on Basin run. His customer service was appalling. Joey was instructing a group of about 10 people and did not care that he was rude to people outside his group. I would not recommend taking lessons from Joey. The ski hill is lovely and the majority of staff are great, friendly, personable and wonderful to deal with.

Certainly one of the best experiences we’ve had so far on our Canada vacation. From start to finish we felt welcome, safe and, most importantly, we had lots of fun!
The scenery is second to none, and the river rafting route was so beautiful. Mountains and rafting together, what’s not to love! Strongly recommend.
Biggest shout out goes to Josh who was our rafter. He captained the raft wonderfully, made it fun, gave us interesting facts about the surrounding country side and also made us laugh because he created a fun environment. Jordan who ran the trip was also tip top, making us feel welcome at the top and provided comprehensive safety guidance. Final compliment goes to Maxime in the office who made our day by helping us swap our session. Without her help and kindness we wouldn’t have experienced this memorable afternoon.

It was great, we saw bears, elk, eagle and dear, and more importantly, we learnt loads about local ecosystem and the challenges Jasper is facing - from pine beetles to wild fire! Kate is very impressive - how they drive and talk and spot animals I do not know!

This was an awesome experience. My wife and I ( both in our 60s and definitely not bikers!) absolutely loved this tour. And Rob, our driver, made us feel really relaxed and welcomed. I would definitely recommend this as part of you Canadian Rockies experience

My girlfriend and I had an absolute blast with Rockaboo. We did the Private Ice Climbing experience and loved it! Our guide, Maarten, was very friendly, knowledgeable, had a safety mindset, and took the time to educate us about ice climbing and the gear, how to install ice screws, and the skills needed if we wanted to pick it up as a hobby. He picked an excellent route for us as beginners and we felt safe the whole time. I would recommend this to anyone looking to try ice climbing!

It was a last minute decision to take the Mile 5 rafting trip. Yes - it is late in the season, no - the water isn't challenging (Class 1 with a little Class 2), but boy was it a FUN time! Kate (the Great) was an excellent navigator, SUPER witty and made the trip most enjoyable for our family. I know that there are several rafting companies doing the exact same thing, but what impressed us about Jasper Whitewater Rafting Company was the cleanliness of their wet suits (and that they were dry to put on), their attention to safety protocols while instilling humor and the fact that they all seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs and their colleagues. Pre-trip communication was answered almost immediately. Pick-up and drop out points were easy to get to and very close to town. Plenty of parking. Congratulation Anaja, Kim, Erin and Kate for giving the people you tour such a fun, memorable and safe experience! You guys were one of the highlights of our 2 week trip! (PS Lunch recommendation for The RAVEN was EXCELLENT! If you haven't tried the Baklava Cheesecake...do it)

We suited up with water repellent ponchos and life vests before boarding our rubber raft. The water was rushing, but the rapids were mostly category 1. Somehow, I got drenched no matter which way our captain Matt turned the boat, and that water was FREEZING! Good thing I have a sense of humor. This turned out to be the highlight of our Canadian Rockies tour. Captain Matt was personable, informative and lots of fun. Don't miss this fun excursion!

We decided to book a private tour with Joe after reading the reviews and we were not disappointed. Great communication before the tour with Patti and Joe picked us up from our hotel at Pyramid lake as had been arranged. He is so knowledgeable about the wildlife and very passionate about his heritage, and we thoroughly enjoyed listening to him and learned so much about his indigenous culture and the wildlife in the area. He knew exactly the places to take us to see bears, eagles, elk, coyote and much more. we would thoroughly recommend taking a tour with Joe, one of our favourite days of our holiday.

We had a fabulous time with the team despite our initial confusion about where to meet the pickup bus... our fault we realised later because it was clearly outlined in the confirmation email, which we had omitted to read. Our apologies. The team were fantastic...all young people who obviously love their jobs, and are brilliant athletes and white water rafters. We were in the capable hands of Riley, with Antony keeping an experienced eye on things. We are seniors, and had only done white water rafting once before, over twenty years ago. However, I felt safe and in good hands the whole time, and thoroughly enjoyed the exhilarating experience. It was a beautiful warm day but I was pleased I had opted for the extra cover of the blue rainproof smock as well as the wet suit. The water was cold!
