- Charles B2 contributionsRobbie (I believe was his name) was an incredible host; very polite and informative with good humour. His dog is also very cute and a nice companion for the trip. The tour bus collects you at your accommodation and is well-warmed throughout the journey, and each stop is planned well with a good amount of information. It’s very clear how good it is to be shown around someone who clearly enjoys the area and has good knowledge of it. There are plenty of opportunities for you to take photos of the area, with great time to soak in the scenery before moving onto the next spot.
The tour group I was with was only 4 people including myself, and it was still great. I was happy that the tour continued despite being a smaller group, and all people present were also nice and welcoming.
Presuming that all tour guides are like Robbie, this is definetly a tour worth booking and it’s completely understandable why it’s so positively reviewed. I learned so much about the area, got the chance to see some wildlife and amazing views, and enjoyed the pace of the trip. Specifically, I enjoyed getting off the bus for a short hike at the canyon and the boat ride on Maligne Lake among other stops. Thank you for a great day! My thoughts are still with everyone in Jasper as I am deeply saddened to hear about the devastation with the wildfires. It can only be experienced with eyes, animals all around you beautiful, towering mountains, and glaciers.. we went on a boat cruise to the secret island on Mula Lake(may have spelt that wrong sorry) camping there is so luxurious. Phenomenal trip visiting superb points of interest, ice trip en route as organised. Fantastic tour guide/ driver. Full of enthusiasm, care, ensuring all passengers understood and any needs were taken into consideration. He made sure we saw everything possible within the short amount of time we had with him. - mikeyboy_esqTexas181 contributionsDuring a recent vacation, my wife and I took this bus tour from Jasper to Lake Louise. Daniel was our driver/guide and he did an excellent job! We stopped at several spots along the route to take pics of waterfalls. About mid-way, we stopped at the Columbia Icefields and rode on an Explorer (large 6-wheel vehicle) to the glacier where we were allowed to walk around and take pics for 30 minutes. Afterwards, we walked on the Skywalk (a U-shaped walkway with clear glass floor located 918' above the glacier floor). The tour makes additional stops in front of beautiful lakes and photo spots and includes a sandwich for lunch (lunch was okay... nothing fancy). - Christine V3 contributionsThis was a wonderful tour despite hazy clouds and actual rain/ snow on the Icefields/glacier. Skyla was our tour guide and she was the best. She was friendly, knowledgeable of the area and sites and just plain fun. We met her on another tour a few days later (she was shadowing the guide) and she was just as friendly and knowledgeable and so giving of herself. The area was beautiful despite bad weather, definitely an unforgettable experience. Our bus driver was Matthias. He was also great!
