Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It’s been maybe 50 years since I’ve been to a planetarium. Very enjoyable way to spend an hour. Guide was excellent and very upbeat.

We were not pleased with our room, "Partial View of Lake" It was very musty smelling. The room was a nice size and clean. Towels need replaced. We did tell the front desk and they apologized, and we should asked to be moved but didn't. That was our only negative experience. All staff members were amazing! Very friendly and helpful. The main hotel, lobby and restaurant was beautiful. Food was fantastic! The grounds are very nice (some construction going on) and spectacular views!! We would return, but would stay in the main lodge. We are now at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, AMAZING!

My wife was poking around on websites during our stay in Jasper looking for backup things in case it was raining on our last morning. My trip preparations had focused on the major, exclusively outdoor activities, and I hadn't even run across this one. The rain mostly held off, but we still had some time and opted to visit this place.

The museum is located on the northwest side of Jasper, just beyond a large complex of their public schools. They have a large parking lot (free) adjacent to the museum which they may share with other local public buildings (it looked like there was an indoor public pool across the street).

When we entered, the only staffer on duty gave a stock speech about admission being free but donations were accepted in several forms, etc. After that (and donating), you are free to explore. Most of the exhibits are in a large loop. The timeline of the town proceeds clockwise. There are some artifacts, maps, sketches, and photos on the wall. Each exhibit covers some topic that was relevant at the specific time-period and this gives a good overall impression of how things developed in the area.

I don't think it is the sort of place you'd need to go back to multiple times, but it was worth a stop.

We love this place and had a great talk to the owner. We purchased a porcupine quill jewelry box which was just amazing. There were lots of other things we would like to have bought but space in the suitcases was limited

I am honestly not sure how we ended up here for I am not really into taxidermy; however, the display is really well done, and definitely worth a visit if you are.
