What travellers are saying
- OnAnotherJourneyCanada264 contributionsThis behemoth is known for its activities aside from shopping but we didn’t really participate in any, other than to briefly watch the figure skaters practicing. Stores are the usual mall offerings with some higher end stores (LV, Tiffany, Kate Spade, etc.). Visiting from a small town we felt it was sensory overload after awhile.Written 7 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Chantalle KippLeduc, Canada110 contributionsI haven’t visited the park since I was a young child so it was neat to come back as an adult. They have added some areas but a majority is how I remember it. The midway was updated a a fun time. Enjoyed showing our little one the sites and plan to return again as there is so much to see.Written 27 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- T JExeter, UK21 contributionsHaving previously lived in Edmonton I had never been out to Elk Island! We came back to visit family and thought it might be a fun day out with the kids and it didn't disappoint! Tons of walking areas, places for picnics and loads of wildlife if you keep your eyes peeled. We came across to sets of bison and got to watch a beaver repairing their dam. All in all a great day out and worth the park fee!Written 19 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Deb V1 contributionA must see for all students in Alberta. It confirms how important democracy is in the greatest nation on earth.

- BrewoligWinnipeg, Canada232 contributionsGreat exhibits, very adult friendly which is rare for a science museum. Parking lot nice. IMAX was fun. Cafeteria was nice. Lineup to get in was VERY slow which was very frustrating. Price felt high for what you got.Written 31 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- BenLar137Calgary, Canada14,045 contributionsWe're glad they're trying to create more space for people on Whyte Avenue, better for social distancing. It's so great now when you don't need to cram into a restaurant!Written 22 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- TracyMundare, Canada1 contributionThe staff are super friendly and accommodating for my wheelchair guest. Areas are beautiful and great for photo ops! Nice places to sit and enjoy or grab a snack. Lines long for food and sitting area small but if you have time it’s worth it!Written 17 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Dawn CEdmonton, Canada10 contributionsThe Winspear Centre is an amazing place in Edmonton, to hear amazing sounds! Musicals, entertaining of any kind is something to see and hear at the Winspear Centre! A must place to go to when visiting Edmonton!Written 7 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Tod AKelowna, Canada152 contributionsWhat a great place to spend the day inside when it is -26c outside. The wave pool is very fun and of course you have to take a couple trips on the numerous waterslides. We have only one issue with this attraction, we really never felt like our personal items as well as the tubes we rented were safe. In fact, my wife had to run down a kid that tried to steal our granddaughters tube. Easily fixed by having security walking the floor at all times. Besides that a great place to be.Written 27 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Tia G26 contributionsI had an incredible time here! I stayed for 2 hours to get the full experience. Day time as well as the light up after dark. It was absolutely gorgeous. The staff were also extremely friendly, talkative and helpful; wonderful, knowledgeable people who never hesitated to help me out with photo as I was visiting alone.Written 15 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Chantalle KippLeduc, Canada110 contributionsHad a great time walking through and learning more about Alberta’s History. The little one enjoyed the childrens gallery however some of the activities were closed. Will have to come back again one day.Written 27 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Starseed MagiciansEdmonton, Canada116 contributionsWhat a beautiful place and weather yesterday to enjoy outdoors...ice sculptures, skating on the lake, indigenous story telling centre, tobaggon hill to just name a few.Written 22 February 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ross MAirdrie, Canada3,790 contributionsThere are so many parks and ravines in Edmonton. Mill Creek Ravine Park just outside downtown is one of my favourites - great experience, fresh air, bird watching and some exercise - what more do you wantWritten 16 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ck1555Calgary, Canada12 contributionsIf your kids love planes they will love this place. Not huge but just right with flight simulators the kids can try (no extra charge). Small gift shop as well. I'd say plan on less than 2 hrs to roam.Written 17 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
