- Josh O4 contributionsThis was a very fun trip. Keep in mind this is a pleasure cruise, not a snorkeling trip. Plenty of drinks, the crew is amazing and really good at taking care of everyone. The snorkeling is brief and there are lots of people in the water. The buffet was good, not amazing. And Isla mujeres is a zoo with lots to see. Do yourself a favor and walk across to the back side of the island, it’s beautiful and much less crowded. Finally, the trip back was awesome with a quick stop to swim and then the sunset at the end. Definitely worth the money, we paid extra for the shuttle from our hotel and they were great also. The waves and wind were really high that day, and the Captain gave us the option whether to continue down south in the extremely rough water or dive somewhere calmer for our third stop. That attentiveness to our needs was greatly appreciated! We were lucky to be there or would have missed the tour. The tour was good and the staff was very nuce and friendly. They said that I couldnt snorkel bcoz their age limit is 10-60 only. This wasnt told to us ahead of time and I was disappointed. The weather was beautiful, we got to see a huge turtle, the weather on Isla Mujeres was amazing, it was a great way to relax and have fun with new friends. - Always_a_SeekerCalifornia18 contributionsWe had the pleasure of joining the 3 Hours VIP Semiprivate Tour Isla Mujeres Full Snorkeling Experience on 12/23/2024, and it was absolutely unforgettable!
From the start, everything was well-organized. We met at the pickup point, where the friendly crew gave us a detailed briefing about the snorkeling locations and safety instructions. Shortly after, we were introduced to our guide, Uriel, who turned out to be the highlight of our trip.
After a brief 5-minute walk to the pier, we removed our footwear (stored neatly in a box) before boarding the boat. The crew provided us with flippers and snorkeling gear, and we felt reassured by the careful attention they paid to every detail.
As first-time snorkelers, we were a bit nervous, but Uriel’s patience and expertise quickly eased our anxiety. He made sure all three of us, including our 10-year-old, felt safe and confident in the water. Uriel took special care to guide us through the snorkeling session, and thanks to him, we enjoyed an exhilarating underwater adventure.
The sights were breathtaking – vibrant coral reefs, colorful fish, and even the underwater museum! The crew also provided water and snacks at the end of the snorkeling session, which was a thoughtful touch.
A big shoutout to both Uriel and the boat captain, Diego, for their extraordinary work and care. They truly went above and beyond to make this a memorable family experience.
I would highly recommend this semiprivate tour to anyone, even those who can’t swim. The boat felt a little bit crowded here and there which made it uncomfortable but other than that, great music, drinks, food, people, snorkeling…and the water in Isla Mujeres is crystal clear!!! Little confusion once we got to the island as nothing there is included. Rented golf carts & went to N beach. He and the captain worked great together to find interesting objects on the sea floor that attracted lots fish, and we even got lucky enough to spot a sea turtle. We had two toddlers in our group that had such a fun time. Thank for for providing such an amazing and safe trip!

- Carolyn G2 contributionsGoing out to the ocean, the waves were really bumping into boat, husband felt seasick. Turning around going back with the waves, it was a lot better. Reaching the lagoon was really smooth. The crew was fantastic and very considerate. I was disappointed because the sealife went out into the deeper part of the ocean due to the storms.
