What travellers are saying
- Christi B6 contributionsGreat vibe, food, and culture of Guadalajara! The plaza cathedrals were also beautiful. Typical Mexico vendors and shops, but always fun to see!Written 17 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- KianiGuadalajara Metropolitan Area, Mexico2 contributionsWe spend a 4 hour's in this Market. - Norma V19 contributionsI did enjoy visiting Guadalajara with the family, you only need to have a good guide to show you around. Friendly service and lots of things to do.Written 4 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mike MSaint Louis, MO13 contributionsThis market is larger and its prices are cheaper than any other tianguis in the area. Skip Ajijic, and the organic market - where you will pay inflated prices. This is where the locals shop. The produce is outstanding- but very fresh, so be prepared to eat it within a day or two of purchase.Written 10 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- JoanneU14North Fort Myers, FL32 contributionsMany nice stores, restaurants, food court, movies, bowling and more. 3 level shopping. A lot of empty store frontsWritten 26 August 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- craftywriterSan Diego, CA1,374 contributionsPaseo Chapultepec
Walk down the center of this Paseo to see the six monuments for the teens depicted on the main monument. Lots of restaurants and bars along this street which I’m sure is hopping at night. My husband went to school in Mexico from age 5-11, I was surprised that he remembered Juan Escutia .... according to legend, in an act of bravery he wrapped the Mexican flag around his body and jumped from the top of the Chapultepec castle to keep the US from capturing the flag. Lots of tourist police on this street as well.Written 26 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Paul-Jann V332 contributionsThis was our first time to visit this large, modern mall. We were quite impressed. A very nice mall. Mainly 2 floors plus a 3rd floor - mainly with a food court and a few other stores.Written 5 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Stephen DGalveston, TX225 contributionsThe statue is one of many depicting the history of Spanish conquest and involvement in the region. There is much to see and much of it is very lovely. Take your time. Wander and enjoy.Written 5 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 365mexicoGuadalajara, Mexico19 contributionsGuadalajara has great art spaces and artists colonies in nearby towns like Tonalá and Tlaquepaque. Traditional, indigenous—it is all here. For something a little different, you can’t beat The Gallery at Fe Hotel and Arts. Exciting new works by modern artists happily fill an art niche in the city. Carefully curated and beautifully presented, the art is well worth a visit to this conveniently situated gallery.Written 29 August 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mark NGuadalajara, Mexico46 contributionsNice little Farmers market.
Everything from fresh produce to coffee, goats milk cheese, sometimes French wine is for sale...
Also a good place for a simple brunch, the cheese vendor's wife makes quesadillas with fresh made tortillas... Really good salsa and noodles are provided on the table. Which you will share, there's only a couple of tables.
This last time they also had mint lemonade (agua fresca de limón con hierbabuena).
They start up around noon, so take that into consideration!Written 10 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - clairejs81San Francisco, CA3 contributionsLess is more, you learn about the artists who are truly inspired. The space is simple but the art collection is worth the visit!Written 17 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
