ideal for a quite stroll during the day or eveningWritten 12 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Paul CLas Vegas, NV683 contributionsWe took a cab from our hotel FA 30 pesos, you have to clarify the location I hear the driver will be inclined to take you to a tourist flea Market. We printed off the header here with address. Don't worry about a cab back no matter where you walk there will be cabs. Take your time and walk around we had breakfast at one of the many lunch counters. We had allot of fun and saw all kinds of things from piñatas to pigs heads we bought gift for the grand kidsWritten 15 April 2013This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- JojoJones2014Acapulco, Mexico43 contributionsThis complex, previously known as the Gran Plaza, contains something for everyone: a multiplex cinema, a food court, VIP restaurant, Telcel and AT&T cell phone sales and service, Radio Shack, Devlyn opticals, even a pet store, and many other shops. Worth a visit just for shopping.Written 5 December 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- FernandoReyes32 contributionsAs any other market in Mexico, it's full of "stores" selling the same once and once again. And as in any market, you shouldn't get it all from the first place, because 5 steps ahead there will be someone selling it 5 pesos cheaper. Still, lots of things to see, lots of things to buyWritten 28 October 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

Some friends go for the concerts on friday nights, I have never been there for concerts but the Canadian party is well worth it.Written 14 June 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- RuiMCarvalhoToronto32 contributionsGaleria Las Brisas is a modern part of Acapulco that is worth checking out. The people are wonderful and accommodating and the prices are fair.Written 7 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Hampm57Norrkoping, Sweden406 contributionsIf you are driving int to Acapulco from Mexico City, you will pass this plaza with a huge Walmart as well as several banks, shoestores, swim and sportswear. Might be a handy stop to shop for beachstuff you forgot or a new bikini from hangten or fullsand or withdraw cash from one of several ATMs
Ample parking out front.Written 18 December 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - GEOAKSMexico City, Mexico63 contributionsGood shopping mall in Acapulco.

- drew22Merced, CA1,104 contributionsI had been to Taxco before without taking a tour and loved it. This time I traveled with a group of friends who were all experienced travelers. We were all very impressed with the skill, knowledge and humor of our guide Roger. He made a long drive seem shorter by sharing information even experienced travelers didn't know regarding Mexico, Acapulco and Taxco. While there, two rout options were often provided allowing the less mobile a more level road to walk, then the two sub-groups met up again a few minutes later.
The choice of restaurant overlooking the city was perfect with the view, excellent food and service. The van we used was a newer model in top shape and the restroom stops were perfectly timed!
I didn't give the tour an Excellent score because of the many stops in various silver shops. I would have been good with just one. I totally understand the necessity and process but I was weighed down with camera equipment and would have rather been shooting than window shopping. Seriously, how much silver can a person buy? Don't answer that...
As the title states: Absolutely great tour guide to a great city! I highly recommend.Written 7 March 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - HipUrbanTravellerToronto, Canada4 contributionsMy daughter and I enjoyed five days of excellent surfing on Playa Bonfil. Victor, the surf shop owner, was very accommodating, friendly, and even spoke a bit of English. It took some adjustment to get into the extremely chill vibe of this shop, but the more relaxed we became, the more we appreciated their easy going nature. Most importantly, My daughter and I went to Acapulco to learn to surf and we came home feeling a big sense of accomplishment. Many thanks to Victor and his shop for all he did to make that happen for us.Written 11 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Vacationer27643Veracruz, Mexico1 contributionI am from Mexico, but now Iam living in Ottawa Canada. I lived in Mazatlan for 3 years, and I spent those 3 years studying painting in Casa de la Cultura from Mazatlan in Plaza Machado, and I want to share with you a little bit my experience with Angelina Arias , My painting teacher, Who is excellent even very hard teacher, I learned too much with her and with my beautiful group 7 years ago. The painting classroom has big windows (roof to floor)with an excellent view to Plazuela Machado, where the people can see the students do their job. You can find in that groups very young people and eldest persons but everybody working too hard and too happy. I miss my group and now I lost my adress book and I want to know the email of Casa de la Cultura or even better the Angelina Arias' phone number. If somebody can help me I will apreciate it. I recomend if you travel to Mazatlan go to Plaza Machado where you can drink a coffe in the outside places in the park or if you want a cold beer, because Mazatlan is very hot , and I promise you will enjoy sitting in that area the quite place and beautiful people. Thank you very much for this space.Written 28 April 2003This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
