Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Nichole P1 contributionBest tour ever! Lots and lots of rum tasting. Lena I think was her name is 100% fabulous, very funny and outgoing!! - jj4580United States69 contributionsAn amazing - and brand new- pickleball specific facility! I almost never get to play on pickleball specific courts - my home courts are all striped for tennis or basketball- so this was a real treat. Our group played open play but you can also reserve your own court - I believe there are 16 under cover (still outside so no ac).Written 7 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sarah HDeLand, FL27 contributionsWe visited this brewery on impulse while docked in Georgetown. We grabbed a taxi at the port and after some confusion and a $25 fare, arrived around noon on a weekday. We did a full flight of their beer and enjoyed all of them. Service was great and called a taxi for us to get back to the port - only it never came, so a friendly local kindly offered us a ride back! Thoroughly enjoyed our adventure and our beer.Written 24 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Mark GCatonsville, MD3,512 contributionsThe tender to the docks was easy, the port area was safe, clean, full of information and a good portion near the restrooms under cover. There is a small market area, tourist information, a restaurant/bar and some shops before you go thru the gates into Georgetown. The port area of Georgetown outside the gates is safe, easy to walk around, filled with restaurants, some quirky, a National Museum, shops and nice scenery. The class of the English shows with everyone on Grand Cayman we encountered being very nice, versus experiences in ports in Jamacia and St Lucia over the years.Written 4 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rebecca B1 contributionSt. Ignatius is a beautiful church with beautiful parishioners. We attended this church while on a cruise. We walked about 45 minutes to the church from the port, not realizing how far it was from the port. The church was packed with worshipers from all over the world. It was truly a multicultural experience with all of us practicing our Catholic faith. When Mass ended, a lovely lady named Edna offered to take my husband and me back to our cruise ship. Her kind and generous spirit truly touched us. Thank you for taking care of us while visiting your country and church!Written 9 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SeamusOakville, Canada1,727 contributionsEvery island with a national gallery wants to put its native artists first, and this gallery does it well. The depth of art is relatively shallow given its history here, and that is reflected in the folk art but mostly modern pieces of mixed media, many oils and a few watercolours, as well as some basketry. But contemporary art, reflected in both abstract and realist pieces, is extremely intimate and contemplative of this dependency’s past. Not a large space, of course, but two floors and a side exhibit space offer a welcome respite, and an appreciation of these islands’ history. Exhibitions vary throughout the season. No admission fee.Written 25 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Nardeska S1 contributionI had a great time getting the island tour and information from Athena. She was a great hostess and a wonderful "pourer" 🥃. I appreciated her time, stories and recommendations along with help getting around the island and her honest recommendations. Definitely get a tour with Athena you won't regret it, great and cheap way to get drunk and start your day.Written 19 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maurie RSilver Spring, MD23 contributionsCayman has been our go to winter escape for over a dozen years now after many trips to other islands. We find it family friendly, cleaner, saner, with lower crime, less poverty, drugs than the other islands. It is a bit more expensive but we find it an excellent value since the ultimate stress management activities for us are beach walking, reading, snorkeling, and free diving. There is much new development with plenty of water sports and island activities. The only negative at the moment is the sand erosion on the south end of 7 mile beach has mostly washed out the beach from the Marriott south.Written 4 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
