I don’t even know where to start.
So, the day before the tour, we were told to meet at point A, but as we were reaching point A the next day, the guide texted me saying to meet at point B. We got to point B, then we were put on the wrong bus. Lucky there was just too many people to fit in that bus so they realized we were on the wrong bus.
Once we took off, the guide just said “I won’t be talking much because I’m fasting.” Um… no offense but either this job isn’t for him or Ramadan isn’t the best time for tourists. The itinerary says there would be cable car ride and hobbit house, but somehow we didn’t go to those places, the guide said cable car was closed but it was operating with passengers on it that we saw other tour groups went to. At the end of tour, the guide sort of made a joke saying “so our tour has cut short, we’ll be back to Istanbul early, just in time when my fasting ends. Haha.” It really made me feel like the tour was catered to him and the tour was no more than just a transportation service.
One great thing I must compliment about this tour was Aslan Park we visited. It was part of an amusement park and they had kept quite some big cool cats in good condition(of course they could use more space but after all this ain’t Africa) unfortunately we had only 45min there. I will definitely visit this park again.
After the park we went to this zip line spot, which is 150m back and forth(200TL) end in 2 min, I wasn’t even allowed to take video/photos of my child going down the zip line because they wanted to sell photos to me afterwards, and the photos they took were just not good at all, I was not going to pay for only half of my kid’s face for the photo. I was a bit annoyed and it got even worse when we spent the money(1000TL/2p)for the ATV ride, finally got to the scenic point, but the whole spot where you can take unblocked view photo is a prohibited blocked area, only their authorized photographer is allowed to take photos, and of course that costs extra money.
Long story short, aside from the animals and the nature, I don’t know what to recommend.

We booked ourselves a day trip to Sapanca and Masukiye with a tour company called LIVE LIFE TRAVEL just to get away from busy Istanbul and it was an excellent idea. Travelling together with different nationalities makes it even more interesting as you tend to see sceneries from their angle too. Very beautiful sceneries overall (except for the many stops to Specialist shops and markets to try and entice tourists to buy eg honeys, coffees, locum and jewelry, etc) but then I suppose this is a good way to ensure that businesses on the outskirts of main cities also sell their wares and so it becomes part of the tour. An overall great tour.

Sapanca and Maşukiye tour was really enjoyable. The calmness of Sapanca Lake and the nature of Maşukiye gave us peace. Lunch was delicious.

Sapanca Lake Tour is an ideal option to get away from city stress. Thanks to this tour, I spent a day surrounded by nature and I feel renewed. It was very enjoyable to ride a bike, go on a boat tour and have a picnic by the lake. The weather was also very nice. A tour I will definitely join again!

This tour did not deliver as promised. They came more than an hour late to pick us, were unorganized, put us with an arabic speaking guide when we had requested English, did not take us to Turkish delight factory, just an expensive shop where they try to convince us to buy their products, then took us for dinner instead of lunch. It was already nightfall by then, so they canceled the rest of the attractions. What a waste of a day and very unfair.

Do not spend money on this, it's a trap. You only visit shops where you are somehow pushed to buy and spend money. The whole trip is about sitting in the bus and stopping at shops. Even at the offroad point we were taken 15 minutes on the asphalt after that 5 minutes off road then 15minutes shopping break in a parking then tha sema story back

Very nice experience for me and my husband, we had so much fun together.
We really enjoyed the safari and zipline activities. There are lots of different activities but of course you need to pay as those extras.

This trip is not suitable for elderly as it is quite a long trip and if they dont participate in activities such as zip line and atv, they will simply be waiting for the group to until they finish.
Visited Sapanca lake.. it was quite hot .. took some good photos but dont expect much.. if you are going with friends it might be enjoyable to sit on one of the cafes and have an ice cream.
Masuyikia & muhamadiya towns were nice but waterfalls were small. We did the zip lining which was enjoyable.. and not too high so suitable for kids. Lunch was less than average.
The highlight of the trip was mount Kertepe were we did the atv tour and visited the glass terrace. Our tour guide Jumaa was very nice and took care of the whole group.

The driver was punctual, courteous and very attentive. He drove safely and made me feel safe, secure and well taken care of. The tour guide was one of the best I’ve ever had. We toured Old Town, mosques and the two palaces. His knowledge base is equivalent to a college professor. He was very personable and I learned a lot from him. Every question I asked was answered accurately, plus he was a lot of fun.
