Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stopped in for lunch while visiting adjacent Cape Kiwanda. I'd been here before, but that was about 20 years earlier. The brewpup still features nice views of Cape Kiwanda. I was seated right away, and shortly afterwards asked my server if I could switch to another table since there was a cold draft coming through the back door where I was seated, and she led me right away to a better spot. The menu is a pretty typical brewpub menu, with burgers, fish & chips, and a few other options plus soup, salad, and some appetizers.

I got the Backyard BBQ Burger (All-natural, Oregon-grown beef topped with Tillamook cheddar cheese, served on a spent-grain bun with Tsunami Stout bacon jam, baby arugula, sliced tomato, crispy fried onions and housemade Tsunami Stout BBQ sauce), which came with fries. The draft beer list included about 15 selections, with lighter lagers and ales, IPAs, and a few other choices, and I got the Silverspot IPA. Both the burger and beer were very good. The atmosphere was informal and relaxed as you'd expect from a beachside brewpub, and I also expected the somewhat high prices, but of course you're paying for the great view as well as the meal. While it's not the best brewpub food or beer I've had, it was solid, and combined with the overall vibe and the view, I wouldn't hesitate to go back again next time I'm in the area.

We stopped here for lunch and had a small wait. This is odd to mention but whatever that smell is outside of the brewery is punch in the gut sewer garbage smell. But don't worry, you can't smell that inside. There is a nice waiting area and gift shop. We were told there were tasters in there but no one was there to serve them until we were called for our table. My family shared a beer flight and enjoyed their drinks (try the chocolate stout and dead guy brew!). I had a drink with their homemade gin, cucumber and lime (it was sooooo good). Our server seemed to be having a hard time and left in the middle of our meal. After he left, someone did come over and take over our table giving us a better experience. I had a salmon sandwich on a gluten free bun (I mention this because this is one of the best gf buns I have ever had - get it toasted) and the large piece of salmon and homemade sauce was amazing. Other people at the table had fish and chips and they all enjoyed them. Nice view of the water. Some areas of the restaurant do need to be cleaned (the windows by our table looked like small children had been rubbing hands on them for years, foggy to look out into the view). But overall, good food and drinks.

Our first time there and we were a bit confused. Someone said find a seat and grab a menu, so we did. They have mostly (all?) craft beer on tap. I had the Meadow Pils which was quite good and quite a hops flavor. The menu contained typical and some atypical pub food. I had one of their fish sandwiches and it was excellent. It was accompanied with tomato and dill pickle slices as well as seasoned fries.

One of best “tasting” breweries in US+ Beer is comparable to Cantillon Brewery in Brussels, Belgium.
Nice employees, comfortable, atmosphere, outdoor seating. Lots of great choices to drink there or buy.
Marketing items; glasses, other could be promoted better, no suggestion even by server.
I didn’t notice any food snacks nor offered, but one thing to add is a few cold snacks or appetizers like cheese plates, nuts, pretzels something to help the palate a change between tasting different beers. Are you allowed to bring in your own?

Love it. They don’t have food, but with the cheese factory across the parking lot who cares? I love the cider. Unlike some places they have both sweet and dry, so ask before you order. Service was terrific and there is both indoor and outdoor seating. Bandon is always fun, and this is one of our usual stops.
