Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

When we first got to the grand canyon we stopped by the visitors center. We talked to Mike that works at the desk. He was supper helpful. He told us what trails to take. If you ever have the chance to visit this place. You won't be disappointed.

When we pulled into the parking lot and got out of the car we immediately saw six California Condors in the air just downstream from the bridge. When we walked out on the old bridge we were able to observe four more perched (one was playing with a piece of rope) under the bridges. This is a beautiful way to see the upper end of the Grand Canyon and the last place to drive across the river until the Hoover Dam.

Shoshone Point was truly a hidden gem. Inside Grand Canyon National Park but far away from the crowds. We GPS’d to a small parking lot. The hike was mellow, through mostly shaded trails, pretty flat, and brings you to a breathtaking viewpoint over the Grand Canyon. Definitely a great option if the steep trails are difficult for you!

My family did a half-day hike with Wildland Trekking on June 13 and it was amazing! Our guide, Catherine, was knowledgeable, encouraging, accommodating, capable, and incredibly patient with us as one member of our group needed a slower pace at times. We had five people in our private tour (ages 22-62) and it was perfect. The sights were breathtaking and Catherine provided a wealth of information about the topography of the Grand Canyon and its ecosystem. I would highly recommend using this company if you're looking for private tour/guide.

I could not have asked for more from Four Season Guides and, specifically, Karne. We had a 3 day trip planned to go to the bottom of the canyon and back out but a series of events - mostly a severe excessive heat advisory - caused a change in plans.

Four Seasons pivoted quickly and made sure we still had alternative options and we chose to go ahead with a revised itinerary. We had a spectacular trip full of all the sights and experiences we wanted - and we were very grateful for change since the canyon temps went to about 115*! We were glad to miss that!

Karne is a skilled and energetic guide who made sure we were comfortable, well fed and delighted with our experience. Dave communicated with us quickly and thoroughly so we never had a moment of unease.

I would highly recommend this tour company! They all made sure we had the experience of a lifetime!

Canyon Ministries knows what they're doing on backpackingtrips. Expert preparation, top notch equipment. Fantastic excursions. The 6 day Grand Staircase experience was outstanding.

Terrific activity to do at the Grand Canyon! The wranglers/guides are professional and friendly. The tour takes you out on a trail through the woods and along the rim. Our wrangler/guide Tiffany helped us with the mules, talked to us about the mules and the canyon, and made us feel comfortable on the ride. She took terrific pictures of my daughter and me on our mules with the canyon in the background. Great experience! Remember a brimmed hat and tip your wrangler!
