Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This would have been a perfect day, except for the breakfast.

Our tour guide was Ian, and he was knowledgeable, approachable, and funny. He had so many stories about Vegas and I wish we had taken the tour earlier in our trip, because he had recommendations for everything. Our bus driver was Lala and she was great, the two of them worked well together and played off of each other well.

The pick up spot was easy to find, though there was a bit of confusion with other tour buses that also picked up at that spot.
Hint: Get there early and listen carefully. Not everyone was as organized as our guide.

Breakfast was a big disappointment. They stopped at a diner, the food was rushed, the staff clearly overworked, overwhelmed and rude. I ordered oatmeal -- cold and lumpy. By the time they warmed it up (it came back with the consistency of glue) it was time to go. Eggs were gelatinous, etc. Few people on my tour were happy with this part.
Hint: Bring a snack for breakfast, though I hope the restaurant either improves or they choose a different spot.

Ian gave amazing details as we traveled, we learned a lot about Vegas, the history of Vegas and places to visit. The Skywalk, complete with lunch, was amazing. The food was much better here. The views were spectacular and awe inspiring. There was an area to support the Native tribe with purchases of bracelets, etc and we found great souvenirs. It was a bit nerve wracking to see small children running close to the edge.
Hint: It was hot! Ian and Lala supplied lots of water but dress in layers to manage AC on the bus and the heat everywhere else. Wear shoes that you can walk in and don't mind getting dirty.

The Skywalk was equally amazing and awe inspiring. Ian was again great about pointing out key features and rock formations to see.
Hint: The line to the Skywalk can be long, about 45 minutes, bring water. There is a small shop to buy souvenirs on the way in but there are better opportunities on the way out.

Ian gave amazing engineering details about the Hoover Dam, which was an amazing marvel but honestly not the best part of the trip. You're viewing the dam essentially from across the street, because to tour the dam is a whole day.
Hint: Again, LOTS of walking, stairs versus gradually sloping walkway. There is no shade and the sun was merciless.

Overall, one of the best tour guides I have ever had.

What a great trip! This was the best way to see the Grand Canyon and a few other places all in the same day, hassle free and in the comfort of an air conditioned van with water/snacks and lunch provided (also all entry fees). Stanton, our tour guide was wonderful and knew all the best places to see the Grand Canyon from. I would recommend this tour and go on it again.

Took the tour and it was phenomenal. Our tour guide Kevin was not only informative but absolutely hilarious. He kept us all laughing and having a great time even though we were exhausted from the heat. The stops we went on were picturesque. I highly recommend taking the tour!

This was a great tour led by Driver/Guide Patrick who shared his knowledge of the history of each location. We enjoyed the laid back setting and the time we had at each location. He took us to the best spots for pics but let’s be honest the Grand Canyon is a sight one must see in person because pictures don’t give it justice. It’s the best way to see the Red Rocks of Sedona, The Painted Desert, Wild Horses, Oak Creek Canyon and the South Rim of the Grabd Canyon. Worth your money!

This tour by MaxTour was incredible. Our guide, Chad, was engaging, knowledgable and incredibly respectable to everyone he encountered. He was efficient but also laid-back and easy going, which was a perfect balance for a day-long tour. He kept us on schedule but never made us feel rushed. Because MaxTours has a permit to drive up to the canyon, we didn't have to wait on the shuttle. Plus, this side of the canyon is not commercialized. The views were incredible. We also didn't have to wait in long lines like you'd have to do with large bus tours, and they provided constant snacks and drinks so we didn't have to worry about packing our own for an entire day in the desert. It was the perfect tour. Definitely worth the price. It is a great value. I highly recommend this tour.

The tour was exceptional. To start with, the level of pre-tour communication by the company was excellent. The coach was on time and comfortable. The tour guide was very personable and informative. She worked tirelessly throughout our tour. The stops provided adequate time to take in the experience. I was 100% delighted with our choice of tour company.

A fantastic day and very competitive pricing for all the experiences! The only hitch was a problem with the bus which caused the driver more concerns than us. The helicopter ride was amazing - the highlight of our visit - would recommend this tour to anyone!

Staff over the phone was very attentive and contacted us via phone and email prior to the trip. We were picked up at 6:00am sharp just as they said they will. We did three stops: Hoover Dam, Route 66, and Grand Canyon. The whole tour is well and timely plan, and we were given historic and very interesting information about all the places we were visiting. Super Brandon our guide, is hilarious, knowledgeable, bilingual, and has the ability to engage the whole group in the conversation. Super Robert our driver of also bilingual and makes the drive smooth and safe. We are definitively giving this team a five star ⭐️

What an amazing trip! The bus driver was so sweet, nothing against him, but the drive was a little long and boring. We only made 1 stop at the Grand Canyon and that just wasn't enough. I'd recommend the version of this trip where they fly you to Page.

The raft trip was incredible and our guide was so knowledgeable and fun.

    Great trip! Gorgeous views!
