- Taras U6 contributionsIt was a pleasant experience! Initially a bit nervous after reading some of the FEW negative reviews, but that nervous feeling was gone almost instantly. The tour guide (Russ) was friendly, personable, and informative throughout the trip. Though the drive to and from seemed long, he filled the time with interesting info to make the drive seem waaaay shorter. Highly encourage anyone who is interested in seeing Grand Canyon NP to do this trip! It’s worth every penny! We had a great time at each stop, and the weather was absolutely perfect for the trip. The only hiccup we had was the line to get into the grand canyon was backed up by almost a mile because they don't have enough park Rangers. It really isn't the tour could prevent, but I strongly suggest packing snacks to help with delays like this. Walking along the Rim Trail is easy and each turn gives you a new view and perspective where you say—“oh this is the best view” then you walk a few more steps and you are sure that is the the best. The day was clear and gorgeous and we were able to take a myriad of pictures. Ita, our driver, was fabulous and even worked to find a couple who did not get to the right point even after numerous explanations!! Ita, provided great background information!! The box lunch was delicious and well worth the additional $10. Ita provided water and a granola bar when we boarded in the morning. The timeframe on this tour is just perfect. - Frank R2 contributionsA fantastic trip and tour! Spectacular views from the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. Our guide Luis was amazing! Very knowledgeable, kind and so accommodating. He made sure we were always comfortable and consistently offered us drinks and snacks that were included in the tour. Luis gave us many interesting facts throughout our tour, and always was with a smile and enthusiasm. He also made a couple of extra stops to have us enjoy some sights. Good length of time to see and walk around the Dam, Canyon and 7 Magic Mountain. It was comfortable with big windows so we had a great view of the landscape. Nathan, our tour guide, was very friendly and entertaining. He often asked if he could do anything to make sure we were comfortable. He showed us all the great viewing spots and gave us some insight on the culture of the mountain.
