Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Awesome weekend, will be back for sure! Excellent trail ride. Very clean and tidy cabins with wood fire for colder nights. All the animals were friendly and love a pat. 10/10 all over experience. Absolutely love this place.

Good experience and very helpful staff. The grounds are lovely but I feel it could be more off track and bush.

We were late to our riding experience but our hosts w we re very accommodating. Its an adorable well kept little farm with friendly people.

Our instructor, like, was particularly colourful and chatty making the whole experience more enjoyable. Some views on the ride were lovely, particularly looking up at the mountains from the valley.

The only criticism is the path that is uphill and through forest ie not much flat land for trotting.

Would highly recommend the experience. Ask for luke!

What a beautiful part of the world to go for a trek, absolutely stunning.
The stable owner Jude greeted us like we were family, really warm and welcoming. Everyone's horse was chosen for them based on their riding ability and I was lucky to have Andy. Beautiful horse, lot of go in him, just what I wanted as I was an experienced rider and wanted a canter.

A bit of a safety drill before we left the stables as Jude needed to make sure everyone could kick on, turn their horse and safely stop, then off we went up the ridge in the Megalong Valley (see pictures) for our 2 hour trek.

Jude, a naturopath, gave us a bit of a nature talk on the herbs and flowers on the 400 acre property that are used to treat various ailments, v interesting.
Everyone had the option to trot along the way and some of us were able to canter so do tell Jude if your riding ability permits this.

The stables also offers agistment and they have an undercover arena for lessons.

The horses are mostly rescue horses (retired trotters) and are given a new lease on life so riding at Euroka is supporting this worthy cause.

I'd highly recommend Euroka for a trail ride, it is well worth the 2 hour drive from Manly and excellent value for money. I will definitely be back to ride Andy.
    Thanks Jude

I am anxious around horses but need to have some lessons for a trip I am to take later this year. Sandra was very understanding of my anxiety and explained everything clearly. She was very encouraging of my lack of knowledge and I felt quite safe and comfortable. The lesson lasted for 1 hour and I felt that I got very good value for money.

A few visitors in town wanted to go horse riding and arranged for a ride at this place. I was there just to ensure they go off safely and offer a lift. The tack were in questionable condition, with some saddles only having single girthpoints. Horses did look well enough, but not exactly blooming however quiet. My main concern was the gear, which is a safety concern. The staff were somewhat nonchalant about it all. No cannot recommend.
