Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Mike MSydney, Australia56 contributionsOur wine tasting at Witches Falls was both great quality and lots of fun. The wines were very nice, and the Prophecy Syrah is excellent, all enhanced by the friendly staff, who offered lots of knowledgeable information and fun stories.Written 10 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - crutt13Pottstown, PA648 contributionsModerate, well traveled trail to get to the falls. Clear, calm water. Small, but nice falls with lots of shade and birds overhead.Written 18 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sarox210Townsville, Australia371 contributionsWe went for an early morning walk from our nearby Airbnb and were very pleasantly surprised by the size of the gardens for a small township. There were plenty of different trails to follow and lots of plant varieties that were well sign-posted. It was fairly empty first thing in the morning and there were plenty of places to stop for a picnic or to read a book or get lost in thought. The gardens were very well kept and beautiful.Written 16 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Peter BCaringbah, Australia26 contributionsThis was a wonderful find. Gordon had us in stitches with anecdotes and jokes and then we come to the liqueurs….Some really interesting tastes and experiences. A great place to visit with friends. The limoncello is just nectar.Written 6 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- EmmaTownsville, Australia59 contributionsThe cave and glow worms were quite interesting, and it was in an easy to get to and lovely location. The tour seemed quite short, but then again I don't know how much longer we all really needed to look at the glow worms. The tour groups feel a little big even though they are only about 15-20 people. Overall, I'm quite glad I did this, and I would recommend doing it if you have the time, but I don't necessarily feel like it's an absolute must do or anything.Written 1 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LucBrisbane, Australia447 contributionsA good 1 hour circuit walk that is fairly shady. Steep in some areas, flat in others. I went solo and felt fairly isolated so would recommend going with someone. Good picnic spot. Close to Gallery Walk.Written 22 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sarox210Townsville, Australia371 contributionsThere are some parklands with picnic areas on the pathway to the lookout and falls. You can view from the lookout or venture down for a swim at the rock pools below. The temp was cold and it was a rainy day when we visited but others were swimming. The walk was okay for all fitness levels.Written 12 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
