Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Sangeeta ShahMumbai, India1,861 contributionsAmazing white marble Bhagvan Swaminarayan temple on N.H.48 near Navsari, is built by BAPS Shree Swaminarayan Sanstha. The BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha is a spiritual, volunteer-driven faith dedicated to improving society through individual growth by fostering the Hindu ideals of faith, unity, and selfless service.
Amazing architecture and views. The carving on the marbles are phenomenal. The idol of lord swaminarayan is mesmerising, soft bhajan makes the whole atmosphere divine. There is even a cutout of the swamiji which looks real as if he is working. There is a whole story of Narayan Swami on the outer walls of the temple and Hanuman and Ganesh in various Vishnu avatars, there is also a souvenir shop and ayurvedic items, prasadam is also available.
Excellent white marble Wide area is available for parking. Ravisabha and balsabha is held on every Sundays. Very good canteen facility is available. Onion and garlic free food is available. Canteen is neat and clean. If you are going nearby then u must visit this temple.Written 10 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - G V NaggenddraSurat, India692 contributionsIt's one of the most well maintained and clean temple that I have visited. Dedicated to Loard Shiva, this 900 year old temple is architecturally a pleasent sight, add to it the beautiful and well curated gardens surrounding the temple makes it that much more beautiful and serene. The atmosphere inside is quite peaceful and gives you good vibes. The temple has been renovated to look the way it is now which is just magnificient. The temple is well connected by road and train just on the outskirts of Amalsad, closer to Billimora which is around 7-8 kms from the temple.
It is a good place to visit with family and friends and spend some quality time in a peaceful environment. Also available inside the temple premises are light refreshments and hygienic rest rooms. The temple complex also has an amusement park for children (I think it's closed for the time being because of COVID)
Overall a good place for an outing where you can spend 2-3 hours with ease.Written 12 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - G V NaggenddraSurat, India692 contributionsWe had gone here for a wedding of my Parsi friend. It is Parsi Dharamshala and also a place for hosting functions for the Parsi community. The place is nothing short of historical considering it was built sometime in 1850's. You'll appreciate the architecture once you are inside looking at the sloping roof and a big courtyard. It also has a well which I presume it to be dug during the construction of this place and still supplies water to the dharamshala.
I cannot make out which part was more enjoyable that evening; the wedding or the aura of this place. It is close to the main bus stand and because of its location, parking can be a major problem so be mindful.Written 30 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
