Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really enjoyable walk with plenty of flowing water and an abundance of wildflowers during our September visit. One thing to note; it is definitely not dog friendly as stated in the "About" section of this website.

Extensive sections of the Munda Biddi near Jarrahdale are very soft, dry and occoasionaly un-ridable. Looks like its due to a lot of horses using the track. This only applies to 15 km or so south of Jarrahdale...

There are some really steep parts so you will need a reasonable level of fitness however i found the view quite rewarding , took us about 2 hours top to to bottom with a bit of time relaxing up the top

This museum is only small but packed full of history. The lady who was working there when we visited (4/8/19) told us a lot about the history of Jarrahdale, we had no idea what a pivotal place it used to be for the railways. We were also allowed to bring our dog inside (she is very well behaved) we really appreciated this.

I've been here a few years ago and enjoyed a short walk in the bush, but the whole place has been completely revamped since I was last here. The main entrance is now via Nettleton Rd, and is paved all the way in, including a very large parking lot on the other side of the picnic area. The area has been developed for mountain biking, with lots of trails, and the place is obviously very popular, with dozens of vehicles in the parking lot, and many mountain bikers enjoying the cross country trails, including lots of families. The large picnic area has lots of picnic tables, but was largely deserted, and even though there are BBQ facilities here, I had the place to myself and could enjoy a couple of hours here. Terrific location, and hopefully some day I can return with my mountain bike to check out the trails.

Lovely little church, catches your eye when you drive past. I actually stopped and walked to it to have a better look. It’s only open on Sundays for a service and if I lived closer I’d definitely come back.

Gooralong Park you can actually get in with a vehicle a couple hundred meters past the locked white gate down the road you’ll see a entrance but sticks in the way but if u go around it and then your on the gravel go left and you’ll see a built up hump of dirt me and my dad go camping there every weekend then once you have gone over hump go straight when it come to a left or right turn go right and you’ll pretty much be at gooralong with a car

Quite a warm day but the trail had loads of shade in most parts so it was really pleasant.

Easy parking in a dedicated car park at the head of the trail - although only a small park so limit to the number of cars that can park there.

Trail is covered in a pebble like gravel from start to finish which was very slippery underfoot - especially down hill- we took a tumble or two!!

We come here weekly or more. Great play area and well kept large green to kick a ball around. Lots of nice paths for bikes / skates and play equipment is suitable for most ages plus a cricket area for older kids. Barbecue facilities are clean and working and plenty of shade. Only downside is no toilets or taps!! 100% is the reason for home time, if that was sorted we'd have battles to leave!

We did a little hike in the area of the Blue Rock. Kids love to climb up the rock. There is a clear return trail from the rock through the surrounding woods, which will take less then an hour. The signposts on the trail are deteriorated and the entrance to the rock is blocked with tree trunks so you need to park on the opposite of the Jarrahdale road.

A beautiful place even in winter. Outside toilets by car park at dam leave much to be desired but one further down ok. Lots of different types of birds to see. Lovely colours on different trees. The wattle was beautiful in full bloom. A great place to visit for free.
