Loved this beach more than kata and karon beach, makmly because I didn't see a single jellyfish on this beach or in the water.
We found this beach while hiring motorbikes and driving round, as such we entered the beach at the top near the motorbike parking and that was a lot of steep steps down to the beach, hopefully there is a less steep option further down the hill.
Water was wonderfully clear, no snorkel mask needed to see small fish. Nice white sand, a fair few sunbeds to chill on.

Lovely, peaceful atmosphere, plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas to be used. 100bhat for the umbrella and 100bhat per sun lounger is what we paid.

Plenty of 7elevens just over the road to grab drinks and refreshments.

Not busy, but not quiet - just a nice atmosphere. Unlike patong beach which is pretty overwhelming.

With morning shade, we walked from its north entrance, passing the expensive Club Med to the exclusive Boathouse Hotel at the south end. I climbed rocks here to get a long view of the back of The Big Buddha facing eastward.
This 1 mile long beach is wide enough to locate a sandy spot of your own or choose to rent among the hundreds of umbrella chairs. I liked swimming in the gentle surf with just a few long tail boats at each end for beauty, several paddle boards to judge distance from shore and no jet skis.
Just after the midpoint is the street access to the Tourists Service Center, providing a clean inexpensive toilet/shower, then a short walk passing the Kata Town Hall to the excellent Walking Street Food Market for all typical lunch choices. There were also numerous waiting taxis to return to our uphill hotel.

Stunning view of three bays. It is free and definitely worth the visit. Can get busy so choose your time to visit careful if you want the perfect photo.

Great open air market, making it more bearable in the heat. Goods selection of items/souvenirs and food. Open Tuesday and Friday. Worth a visit. Don’t miss the donuts near the main entrance, they are delicious!

This market tour and cooking class was amazing! We had a small class on the day which made it even better. The tour guide Gigi was so knowledgeable and well spoken in English. She gave great explanations at the markets and instructions during the class. It was really fun, easy to do and the food was delicious!! I wouldn’t have tried those dishes otherwise and it was surprisingly fast and easy to make. Don’t eat before coming - you are well fed with a 4 course menu and testers at the market! Thanks Gigi and other teachers

We had visited this small temple dedicated to Lord Buddha during our sightseeing in Phuket. This temple is located close to Karon Beach and also known as Wat Karon. We liked the beautiful architecture of temple and the peaceful ambiance inside it. This place is worth a visit when you are visiting Karon Beach.
