Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Heaps of fun. Very organised and great communication over WhatsApp. Come with an empty stomach - but they do let you box for take away as well.
Very vegetarian friendly (likely vegan friendly too but we didn’t need/ask)

I booked this excursion not knowing really what to expect. I arrived and was instantly greeted by Ohn with a smile at the pier. She was very instructional and still managed to have a vey laid back attitude that helped me stay comfortable and keep anxiety down. While submerged, we swam around the coral areas about 10 meters down and she took tons of great pictures and pointed out all the new fish we continued to come across. Would highly recommend booking this if you have time, Ohn and the owner were wonderful people to work with.

This was the best tour I’ve ever been on. Our private guide Patty was amazing! She was friendly and fun and so knowledgeable about Phuket. She also took some amazing photos for us. I highly recommend this tour if you’re in Phuket.

Our tour guide, Aup (?), was amazing. Even though we were the only official snorkelers and everyone else were divers, he always paid special attention to us throughout the whole trip, not just at the specific dive places. He was really good at pointing out the good sights and was knowledgeable when we asked him about the animals and such. They gave us lots of food, lowkey more than i expected, that was really good. The swim spots themselves were amazing. even though one of them was obviously catered for the divers, it was still amazing as a snorkeler. At these islands there was hardly anyone there, atleast when we went. at 2 of the spots we were the only boat in the coves.

I had planned to be going to the Philippines, but due to a Coronavirus travel ban that went into effect the day I was leaving the US, I instead found myself on a plane to Thailand with no idea where I was going or plans for when I got there. During my flight, I began my research so I would have a game plan when I landed in Bangkok. I came across Steven on the scubaboard forums, and he was extremely helpful in offering advice for my last second trip to the area. Because of this, I booked my land based diving through him and have no regrets.

First off, if you don't know how the land based diving works, it's very unlike anywhere I've ever dove. Whomever you book your diving with, they basically book you on a cattle boat with 30-50 other divers. It sounds absolutely terrible, but, to be honest, it really wasn't. The boats are HUGE, have multiple levels, and most of them offer plenty of room to spread out. The dive deck can get a bit crowded right before everyone jumps in, but everyone is assigned a spot, and it's really not that bad at all. The dive op you book through will assign you a dive guide, and you will be with that dive guide for each dive on that trip. So, on any one of these huge boats, there will be people from several different dive ops. After six days of full day dive trips, I never saw a guide with more than 5 divers, though. Nearly all of them were 1-3, with a couple of 4's. Only once did I see a guide with 5. So, while there may be 40 divers on the boat, around 1/3 of them are guides. And, most dive sites are large and spread out enough so that everyone isn't on top of each other. The only times this became an issue is on wall dives, and understandably so, because... well... There's nowhere else for everyone to go. Very few of the dives were like that, though, so no worries.

Anyway, now that I've explained how it works, here's why to book with Steven. Not only are his prices more than reasonable, but he will be sure you get what you are wanting out of the trip, and knows all of the various operations in the area like nobody else. He also went above and beyond on many occasions for me. After my last second destination pivot and travles, my head was apparently up my arse for a few days. One day, I somehow left my mask on one of the boats. He was able to get it from them and had it ready for me on the boat I was on the next morning. Forgot my dive watch in my room one day because I was charging it... No problem, as they provided a backup gauge for me.

Anyway, long story short, if you're looking to do some diving in the area (They also do liveaboard stuff too), get in touch with them. You won't regret it. Thanks again for all your help Steven.

I joined a gamified tour at Karon beach. It was a pleasure experience exploring the area. Definitely try another area soon to find more interesting places and activities.

We took the Open Water Course which included one pool session, 2 beach fives, and 2 boat dives at Racha Yai island. It was the best experience. The location of Phuket Five Tours at Kata Beach was best. They have own dive training pool there, and the place is located within walking distance to Kata Beach which was useful for the day-2 beach dives. Our instructor, Mr. Somkid, was so understanding and paced his training based on our abilities. We went slow but steady - and got certified within the 3 days of learning.

We were a group of 6 guys
The activity was 2 hour drive from phuket kamala.
We booked 7km raft but got only 4
Once you board your raft you will be bombarded with at least 50 more rafts in the river.
There was a dam at the top that opens at a certain time and ALL 50 rafts will start their ride together making it extremely difficult to complete the ride without any stops
There is also a weight limit on the zippine that we were not aware of until arrival.
All in all i would not recommend this activity given the 2 hours drive from and to phuket.

We had a great day! We went to three locations and dove each site. If you are looking for a great day of diving, this trip is a winner.

Love the idea for the tour because it covers most places near Phuket town. If you only have limited time this half day tour will definitely worth it.
