Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Well the day began with rain and high clouds so we thought the tour would just be so so as we were headed up into the mountains. Couldn't have been more wrong! Dany met us with a smile and an upbeat attitude putting us in a party frame of mind. Dany was really tuned into making us comfortable and wanting more info as he described, land features along with island history. Dany made a fun game at the botanical garden pointing out plants, their name and practical uses of seeds, bark leaves and roots. Dany took over picture taking as we swam in cool fresh waters below a gushing waterfall. We never felt rushed but we covered a lot of areas and history. Finishing with lunch on a lovely beach then home. We have great memories of our great tour!

An unforgettable experience!! The view was breathtaking, with this lush and impressive landscape. The guide was fantastic; he taught us a lot about the history of Martinique, which was very interesting. I highly recommend this north tour :)

The tour was engaging and delicious. Christelle was an excellent tour guide who answered all our questions, gave us a well-rounded view of life on Martinique and provided lovely homemade traditional foods for us to try. Highly recommended.

I wanted to review this tour as Daniel was probably the best tour guide i have had in the Caribbean. It began months ago when i was planning this trip. Daniel corresponded with me via Whats App and we went over the various tours and what was expected. We stayed in Trois I'slets and it was a quick ferry ride to Fort de France and pickup. There were only 4 of us so it made for a great time and small intimate experience. We started at the Balata Cathedral with magnificient views of the city. We then went to a secret waterfall (Absalon i think) and were the only folks there. Daniel was great and allowed us to spend as long there as we wanted. Daniel carried extra towels so we didnt wet up his van. We then hiked up some hills with a view of the mountains on our way to the gardens. They were unbelievable and he encouraged us to smash and smell the leaves and guess what we were looking at. It became a game and we all tried to outthink the other couple. My wife loves plants and flowers and she was in heaven with all the plants and flowers in their natural habitat. We then got a massage from the waters coming off the mountains and were able to rub organic mud and wash it off our skin. Very exilerating! We then travelled to the rum factory and were able to eat some fresh mangoes while touring the facility. I would recommed this highly to any one who wants an off the beated bath tour. Well worth the time and effort! Merci encore!

The views were amazing. We took so many photos. Brice (from Nice) was an excellent host and shows a real passion for his island. Recommend if you want to see the north of the island & St Pierre.

Sebastiano is the owner, operator and guide. Having done many travels over the years, he is one of the most cheerful and informative guides that I have encountered. It’s a small group with a max of 6, which made for a more personalized experience too.

Leslie was great in helping me plan a small private excursion. She was very flexible in recommending our custom itinerary & making it very easy for my tour members to complete their booking to the private tour. Joshua was an excellent driver/guide & his English for his narrative for describing Martinique's history & points of interest was excellent, as well. He added a surprise to the end of the tour to his "special spot". I highly recommend Beyond the Beach for your visit to Martinique.

Daniel is an excellent tour guide. The planning and the execution were perfect. Daniel is very attentive to the visitors needs. We had a real fun tour! We travel as a couple and use about 5-6 private tours annually. This was one of our best experiences to date!
