Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a lovely 4 night stay in mid September in Klausen/Chiusa. The location was perfect for nearby hikes and we loved exploring the town. The locals were friendly and we enjoyed walking around the town and by the river. We got some beautiful photos. There were 2 grocery stores within walking distance and we needed to stop by the local pharmacy and the pharmacist was delightful (& spoke English very well). A beautiful town located in the Dolomites … I’m so glad we stayed here.

If you want a stop-off on a long trip, this is a good location. Pretty medieval centre with the monastery and castle dominating. For the more sporty, climb up to the top of the hill and visit the ancient fortified monastery (still occupied). Word of advice, unless you want a full cardio workout, walk up via the 40 min nature walk (very pretty) and go down by the steep cobbled path.

This church is worth a visit if you are in the Old Town of Klausen / Chiusi as it is a pleasant but not exceptional experience
