Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I haven't been here for a while, but enjoyed the last time I was there with my mum. It is a walk down memory lane for older folk who will recognise blasts from their past. It is run by volunteers who have done a good job of setting things out with helpful information. Being a former Brit the objects don't seem that old really but it is interesting and worth a look.

Many generations of the Gubbi Gubbi people used these sandstone rocks in the creek bed to sharpen their tools. These would have included axe heads, spear heads and cutting stones. The many grooves formed from this grinding are clearly visible today. I find it quite overwhelming to be able to touch these grooves where the original inhabitants of this land once lived.
The rock platform provided a natural bridge over Little Rocky Creek which was used by the early Cobb and Co coaches. Wheel ruts can still be seen today as grooves in the sandstone.
There is a small parking area off the Old Gympie Road and a walkway down through the forest to the rock platform. If you like learning about Aboriginal culture this is a must visit.

We are a family of 4 with a 7yr old and 14yr old. We love to finds news places to explore specially in our own back yard!
I drove past the entrance to this park on a day Daily basis and always saw bikes but thought it was a meeting point for road biking groups. But one day as a passenger I spotted a mountain bike rider in the bush so I started googling!!!!
Bam 💥 a 12km mountain bike track. Within a week we loaded the bikes on the Ute and headed for an adventure!!!!
My daughter, son and I all have Kmart bikes 🚲 and it handled the track good 👍🏼 even the lil mans BMX style bike got through fine. The track is classified as easy, we aren’t experienced bikers and found it easy to handle. There are some challenging section though specially in the last 4km. Most of the journey you are covered by the trees canopy so even riding in summer is comfortable. Go give it a go and have some fun there are some beautiful viewing points along the way.
It’s located right across from the big kart track on Steve Irwin way
