My main concern was the safety aspect of being told lifejackets were under each seat.We were upstairs.Several passengers near me looked and commented it was not there. We finally established there was a large bag of them under a front seat. My wife cannot swim and felt she would like to have quick access to her jacket in an emergency. This guided kayak tour was perfect taking around 3 hours, with absolutely stunning views and access to wildlife. Our guide Matt was a great guy, super knowledgeable with a good sense of humour too.

skipper paulie and deckhand jack were both extremely professional but welcoming and fun.
bottom fishing with bait and caught a variety of species.
it was a lot rougher than we were expecting out past the point so maybe consider taking travel sickness pills!
a lot of our catch was stolen by sharks before we could get them onboard but that’s part of the game i guess.

Sightings can never be guaranteed but we saw 6 adults and calves and were able to hear them communicating underwater. Definitely recommended. We had an awesome time and really appreciate the last minute change from Saturday to Sunday to allow us to go to Eumundi. Food was delicious. Service was excellent. Skipper and commentary were informative and well balanced. The cruise was serene and peaceful, nothing rushed and was a fabulous way to spend a couple of hours.

We enjoyed the chat from the skipper and his crew mate was very helpful and he was very interesting and funny.
The boat was just the right size, not too small or too big and the pace was just right.
