Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had the immense pleasure of visiting the Protagonist today. A symbolic name given the fact that in a world where so many vineyards are at the mercy of high chemical use and a low tolerance of the natural processes we find a main player for the environment producing an ethical , skilfully crafted and highly sustainable product, an award winner both in the world of wine making and a champion for the environment. Beware pretenders- organic without certification is not and will never be the real 'thing'. In contrast, proudly displayed at Tscharke is the NASA certification - hard won and hard kept they own it and live by it- the certification underlines this.
Our tasting were orchestrated with finesse by the delightful and passionate Connie. Time and care were taken and we were treated to a genuine experience full of elevated narratives and wonderful diversity in history, tastings and provenance. Thank you , thank you. We walked away with bottles full of passion and celebration of a fine art and a commitment to excellence in every way.

My wife and I drove up to the Barossa valley to have a look around some of the wineries.
As we had our Frenchie we looked for a dog friendly winery and came across Two hands winery.
We were greeted by Rachel and we paid $15 for the wine tasting. We were served 8 different wines, which were great and a fantastic explanation of each wine.
Rachel was lovely and we both agreed that it was the best and most informative wine tasting that we had ever experienced.

We turned up without a booking yesterday (don’t risk it at the weekend or high season) and were given a very warm welcome and an excellent tasting of Torbreck’s delicious wines. Andrew and Nicholas were very knowledgeable, but it was very much a conversation rather than a lecture. We would throughly recommend.

We had a great, relaxing time here.
It was hot on the day we were there, but they had misting fans outside and it was nice and cool inside.
Staff were great and there were plenty of fun cocktail options as well as a gin and tonic (with various gin options).
The still on display outside provides a unique experience!

WOW! How beautiful is Barossa Valley Estate? If you love red wine, beautiful gardens and photography then I highly recommend a visit. We strolled the gardens first which is encouraged by the staff and then settled in for a wine tasting and platter which was served to us by the very friendly and knowledgeable Adelaide. The Estate is stunning inside and out and I highly recommend a visit when touring The Barossa.

You could blink and miss this place, but if you do see it,make the effort and drop in. Not the biggest range of wines, the tasting room is a bit outdated, but it’s about the wine right? The owner lives on the premises so if the place seems closed, knock on his door at the main house. I tried all his wines and I didn’t mind them at all- I liked the Malbec. Wine is subjective so I suggest you try the wines.

This is an attractive little church on the Seppeltsfield road. It is unusual in that it has a metal arch over the gate with the words Gnadenfrei St Michael’s - Free Grace ... . There is an adjacent old cemetery. I would probably give a 3* rating for the outside view, although it is very attractive in its vineyard setting. However I had arranged to be shown inside, and this completed the experience - a lovely sacred space for reflection or worship.

The Gnadenfrei Lutheran Church (St Michaels) sits on Seppeltsfield Road as you come into the pretty town of Marananga (known as Gnadenfrie until 1918 when its and other towns names were changed to sound less German). The church was built in 1873 and the tower added in 1913.
