#1 of 11 Sights & Landmarks in Shingu
... it's a photogenic spot with an orange bridge and cherry blossom trees in the spring, and just past the first shrine is a 500 step steep trail with stone steps up to another shrine and a great view of the city,
On reaching the top, although only around 100m above the starting point, I felt the tremendous elation of a full cardio workout with tremendous views as a bonus.
