Beautifully restored this magnificent art work is a landmark in art history and in any visit to Padova.
A great occasion to enjoy a special place in Padua: the Scrovegni chapel is a unique site of beauty.

Basilica di Sant’Antonio Padua 5.1 km away
#2 of 261 Sights & Landmarks in Padua
In addition to the church and all it's side chapels, sanctuaries and tombs, there's also extensive cloisters to visit and a museum on site, but that requires a fee while the church itself is free.
The various stations of the walk included major artistic/ spiritual landmarks within the church, including laying hands on St Anthony's tomb, looking at his relics, etc.

The calming sensation, sculptures, sounds of running water blended with the sights of couples sitting on the grass all with a background of gentle bustling sounds of the flea market nearby make this place unforget...
Gorgeous place to rest after walking all day, stunning views, close to the Basilica, plenty of shade, markets as well.

Battistero del Duomo Padua 5.6 km away

From my point of view better than the Scrovegni chapel If you get a museums pass for 24 hours you'll get free entrance.
For the best views, take your binoculars as it's hard to see some of the ceiling paintings from the ground.

Palazzo Bo, the site of the first university in Padova, is a very old building and a tour of it is pretty cool.

A mandatory stop when you visit the fantastic city center of Padua The city has paid a great attention in preserving its heritage of buildings and sites.
The magnificent rectangular building is supported by arches on all four sides, providing protective arcades, while the open loggia on the second floor provides a birds' eye view of the center of the city.
