Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We really enjoyed walking around this place and also the small museum. Plenty to do here and the cafe was also very good. I have done a review for that as well.

Great views, pretty Lighthouse close to Georgetown. If you visit Sundays at 12pm the volunteers sound the foghorn which is pretty epic.

Although my views on beaches are fairly ambivalent, this nice crescent shaped beach would get my tick of approval. Timber walkway from the parking area to the beach, may be others located along the coastline. It certainly is a nice sandy beach with only wavelets lapping the shoreline when we visited. A few hardy souls braving the water.

Belfont is the gateway to LowHead. A great example of an early 1880s light house keepers cottage. Belfont is also depicted in a number of early colonial art works at the Launceston Regional Gallery. An important Tasmanian landmark.

An amazing opportunity to see the penguins in their natural environment. We were very lucky as the penguins came in from the sea very quickly, after the start of the tour. I managed to take some great pictures and video clips, although some were a little shaky due to the strength of the wind! The guide was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this tour, and great for all ages.
