Occupies a dominating position above the charming old town, enough restoration to give an excellent idea of its character, great view of the area and the town, drive up or walk from the town and soak up the history.
The whole town of Montgomery is lovely, you just feel you want to know more about it, do walk up to the castle, it is a bit of a climb but well worth it, on the way up you pass the old Jail, views are just amazing...
