The visits to Phi phi, James bond and Krabi Island tour were action packed and memorable! The support of all the group guides---Bobby, Sun and Tony along with all their team members was awesome! All the places were amazing. The best part was that it was self guided and I could chill where ever I wanted for as long as I wanted. Ideal to do when first in Kata Beach to get your bearings and also see some of the sights. It was great to jump into an air con van too especially as we’d just arrived from sunny England! - Holly RNorthampton, UK54 contributionsWe had a great time on this private tour. Our guide Adhar (hope I’m spelling that correctly) was sooo funny and great!! We loved the karon viewpoint and the big Buddha. Please note this is a whole day trip (8.5 hours inc. transfers) not 5 hours as advertised. You only get bottle water. Drinks can be bought at sights. You are invited to attend a small cafe in old town which you pay extra for. We didn’t like that at the gem store they try pressure you to buy even though the prices are very very expensive. Nothing under £400. The guide woody met us at the airport and had all our information for the tours we booked and we can choose which days we wanted to go. He suggested the Island tour the day after then Phi Phi the day after that. All which worked out well. The big buddha on the island tour was breathtaking and we thoroughly enjoyed phi phi. - Colin DAuckland Central, New Zealand5 contributionsOur tour director, Kamonthip Saeter, (Thip), was fantastic, she met us on the morning we arrived and confirmed our pick up times for the tours we had booked before arriving, and our airport transfer, as well as arranging 2 other tours, the Private Tour: Phuket Introduction City Sightseeing Tour and Phi Phi Island by speed boat. She was so helpful and accommodating. The Phuket tour included various lookout points and beaches, the Big Buddha, a Buddhist temple, a cashew factory, a pearl factory and a walk through the Chinatown street of old Phuket. - Steve DDivonne-les-Bains, France857 contributionsMy wife was keen to do this as I had mentioned I tried one 25 years ago (on Orchard Road) when I was last in Singapore.
Unfortunately there is probably only this one company left running and is now based near the Bugis MRT. Apparently according to my concierge it has since fallen out of favor due to overcharging tourists. Hence its decline.
However, is was nice to do together and although our guide spoke no English is was enjoyable.
