Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This beautifully maintained garden is owned by the Diggers Foundation. The Garden of St Erth is named after the garden in Cornwall from whence came the goldminer who discovered the rich Simmons Reef. Blackwood was a lustrous goldmining field for many years. The garden is full of mature deciduous trees and fruit trees. The Garden of St Erth café is a great place for afternoon tea.

We visited in mid autumn during the peak of autumn colour.
Splashes of colour with many varieties of perennials on show, annd anutumn colour everywhere, attention to detail and cared for by loving gardeners. A feast for the senses.. Well worth the visit, where magical memories were made. I highly recommend visiting this garden.

All Saints Anglican Church is Registered by the National Trust. It's built of native timber in Primitive Gothic style. It's neat and well-constructed. The Church celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2013.

Fantastic area surrounded by huge forest.
Attended the Gold panning championship on Saturday which was a lot of fun to watch. The local scout group provided the sausage sizzle , along with other selections. Well done

Blackwood Hat Shoppe has a great selection of hats, from Panama hats to Tweed hats. Hats for women can be found for all occasions, from wide brims to sporty fascinators suitable for glamorous race meetings. For people on the land, a wide-brimmed felt hat will fit the bill. Take your time and look around. Prices are moderate and the staff aren't pushy.
